Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has announced the revised schedule for State Common/Centralized Counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions 2026-27. The revised counselling timeline has been issued following the revised schedule received from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), DGHS, New Delhi.

As per the notice dated August 20, 2026, the university has scheduled the publication of the Final Merit List for Round 1 counselling on August 21, 2026. Eligible candidates will subsequently be required to participate in the online choice filling and locking process for their preferred course, college and quota.

The choice filling and locking process for the first round of counselling is scheduled from August 22 to August 25, 2026, as mentioned in the university notice. Candidates will be able to submit their preferences for MBBS and BDS courses and colleges during the specified period.

Following the choice-filling process, the university will conduct the seat allocation process. The Round 1 provisional seat allocation is scheduled to be released on August 27, 2026, while the final seat allocation for Round 1 will be published on August 29, 2026.

Candidates who are allotted seats will then have to report to their allotted college for admission. According to the revised schedule, the joining period is scheduled from September 1 to September 3, 2026.

Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official AMRU website for any further changes, updates or subsequent counselling schedules. The university has specifically stated that any change or subsequent round counselling schedule will be uploaded on its official website.

What Candidates Need to Do

Candidates participating in Himachal Pradesh NEET UG 2026 counselling should carefully follow the revised schedule and complete choice filling and locking within the prescribed period. After the seat allocation result is announced, candidates allotted seats must complete the joining and admission formalities within the specified dates.

Candidates should also regularly check the official university website because the counselling schedule may be modified or further round schedules may be announced later.
