The Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has announced the schedule for the Second Round of State Common/Centralized Online Counselling for PG MDS Courses for the academic session 2026-27.

The counselling will be conducted for eligible candidates seeking admission to MDS courses in Himachal Pradesh. Candidates are advised to follow the prescribed schedule and regularly check the official AMRU website for any subsequent changes or additional counselling rounds.

AMRU HP MDS Counselling 2026: 2nd Round Schedule

Online Application from September 15

Candidates participating in the second round of AMRU HP MDS Counselling 2026 will be required to submit the online application form during the prescribed window from September 15 to September 17, 2026.

Candidates should ensure that the application is completed within the notified schedule and that all required information is entered correctly.

Merit List and Seat Vacancy

The 2nd Round Merit List is scheduled to be published on September 19, 2026.

Following the release of the merit list, the provisional seat vacancy for the second round will be published on September 21, 2026.

Candidates should carefully check the available seats before submitting their course, college and quota preferences.

Choice Filling and Locking from September 21

The choice filling process for the second round will be conducted from September 21 to September 23, 2026.

Candidates will be required to fill and lock their preferred:

• Course
• College
• Quota

Candidates should carefully arrange their preferences before locking the choices, as the subsequent seat allocation will be based on the applicable counselling rules and submitted preferences.

Provisional and Final Seat Allocation

AMRU has scheduled the provisional seat allocation for September 25, 2026.

After the provisional allocation process, the final seat allocation for Round 2 will be published on September 28, 2026.

Candidates allotted seats should carefully check their allocation status and follow the instructions issued by the university for admission.

Joining Schedule

Candidates who receive a seat in the second round will have to join the allotted college and course on September 29 or September 30, 2026.

Candidates should complete the required admission formalities within the prescribed joining period. Failure to complete the joining process within the notified timeline may affect the candidate's admission, subject to the applicable counselling rules.

Candidates Advised to Check AMRU Website Regularly

AMRU has clarified that any change in the counselling schedule or subsequent round of counselling will be uploaded on the official university website.
