Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh, has released the Provisional Merit List for the first round of MBBS/BDS counselling based on NEET UG 2026. The notice was issued on August 19, 2026, for candidates participating in the Himachal Pradesh state counselling process.
According to the university notice, candidates are advised to carefully check their details and merit position in the provisional list. If any discrepancy is found, candidates can inform the counselling authority through the designated email address counselling.amruhp@gmail.com.
The deadline for reporting discrepancies is 11:00 AM on August 20, 2026. Candidates are advised to submit any objection or discrepancy within the specified deadline.
AMRU has clarified that the provisional merit list is only indicative in nature and is subject to change. Candidates cannot claim any right over an allotted seat solely on the basis of their position in the provisional merit list.
The university has also stated that the provisional merit list cannot be challenged before a court of law.
Candidates claiming benefits under any reserved category or quota have been advised to ensure that all certificates and documents submitted by them are valid, updated and in the prescribed format mentioned in the prospectus.
Candidates whose certificates or documents are outdated, invalid, incomplete or not submitted in the prescribed format may not be entitled to claim the benefit of the respective category or quota.
AMRU has further clarified that even if a seat is provisionally allotted, it will not automatically establish a right to admission. Final eligibility and category claims will remain subject to verification and approval by the Admission Committee of the concerned institute.
