The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has revised the schedule for the 1st Round of Online Counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses under State, All India and NRI quota seats.

According to the notice dated August 15, 2026, the schedule has been revised due to a technical glitch in the server. Candidates participating in the counselling process should follow the revised dates.

State Quota Seats

The Board has clarified that online registration, choice filling and editing of filled choices will continue simultaneously on August 21, 2026.

All India Quota MBBS Seats

The revised schedule applies to All India seats in MBBS courses at Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College & Hospital, Palamu; Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital, Seraikela-Kharsawan; Sido Kanhu Medical College & Hospital, Dumka; and Birsa Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Khunti.

All India Quota BDS Seats

For All India BDS seats at Vananchal Dental College and Hospital, Garhwa, the schedule has also been revised.

Candidates Must Re-Register for Choice Filling

JCECEB has clarified that candidates who have already registered and paid the online counselling fee and security deposit do not need to pay the fee again for Round 1 choice filling.

However, such candidates must re-register once on the Online Choice Filling Portal to participate in the Round 1 choice-filling process.

Candidates should carefully complete their registration and choices according to the revised schedule.
