The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has announced the schedule for the Second Round of Online Counselling for Post Graduate Dental (MDS) State Quota seats based on the NEET MDS 2026 result.

According to Advt. No. JCECEB/48/26-85, candidates who have qualified and meet the eligibility requirements can submit their online application and upload the required certificates through the official JCECEB website.

Candidates already included in the State Merit List of the First Round of counselling do not need to submit a fresh application.

Candidates should complete every stage within the prescribed dates.

Who Can Apply for Jharkhand NEET MDS Round 2?

The Round 2 counselling is open to qualified and eligible candidates of NEET MDS 2026 seeking admission against vacant State Quota MDS seats in Jharkhand.

Candidates who were already included in the State Merit List prepared for Round 1 are not required to apply again.

The eligibility criteria for the second round will remain the same as prescribed in:

• Advt. No. JCECEB/48/26-69 dated August 24, 2026

Jharkhand NEET MDS Round 2 Merit List

After the application process, JCECEB will publish the Provisional State Merit List for Round 2 on September 21, 2026.

Candidates will be given an opportunity to report any discrepancy or anomaly in their merit rank on September 22, 2026.

If a candidate finds an error in the merit position, the candidate must inform the Board by email along with supporting documents.

The Final State Merit List for Round 2 will be published on September 23, 2026.

Round 2 Choice Filling and Seat Allotment

After publication of the final merit list, eligible candidates can participate in online registration and choice filling for seat allotment.

The choice-filling window will remain open from:

September 24 to September 26, 2026

Candidates should carefully select their preferred MDS courses and institutions according to their eligibility and available vacant seats.

The Provisional Seat Allotment Letter will be issued on September 27, 2026.

Certificate Verification and Admission

Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 will have to complete certificate verification and admission at the concerned institute from:

September 27 to September 30, 2026

Candidates should carry the required original certificates and documents at the time of admission as prescribed by JCECEB.

Jharkhand NEET MDS Counselling 2026: Application and Counselling Fees

Candidates participating in the counselling process have to pay the prescribed Application/Registration Fee, Counselling Fee and Security Deposit through the payment gateway.

The security deposit varies according to the institution and category.

Candidates should carefully check the applicable security deposit before making payment.

Security Money Rules

JCECEB has specified that the security money will be forfeited if a candidate does not take admission after being allotted a seat in the second or subsequent counselling rounds.

The security money may also not be returned if the candidate:

• Provides incorrect information during registration; or
• Fails to produce the required original certificates at the time of admission.

The security deposit will be refunded if a candidate takes valid admission and no seat is allotted after any stage of counselling, as per the notice.

3. Complete the online application form.
4. Upload the required certificates and documents.
5. Pay the applicable application/registration fee and other prescribed charges.
6. Submit the application within the deadline.
7. Check the Provisional State Merit List on September 21.
8. Report any merit-related discrepancy on September 22, if required.
9. Check the Final State Merit List on September 23.
10. Complete online registration and choice filling from September 24 to September 26.
11. Download the provisional seat allotment letter on September 27 if allotted.
12. Complete certificate verification and admission by September 30.
