KEA has advised candidates to understand the implications of each of the four choices before making the selection. The choice exercised by the candidate will determine the subsequent admission process.

Candidates should therefore carefully review their allotment and make their decision within the prescribed deadline.

Fee Payment for Choice 1 and Choice 2 Candidates

Candidates selecting Choice 1 or Choice 2 are required to pay the prescribed fees on September 15 and September 16, 2026.

After payment of the required fee, Choice-1 candidates must submit their original documents at the KEA office in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, and download their admission order between September 15 and September 17, 2026.

Reporting to Allotted College

Choice-1 candidates who complete the required fee payment and original document submission must report to their allotted colleges.

The deadline for reporting is:

September 18, 2026, up to 6:00 PM

Candidates should complete all admission formalities within the prescribed deadline to avoid issues with their allotted seat.

Admission Subject to Eligibility and Regulatory Approval

KEA has clarified that academic eligibility, admission and seat allotments will remain subject to the rules, conditions and approvals applicable from time to time.

The allotments are subject to requirements of authorities including the National Medical Commission (NMC), Dental Council/competent regulatory authorities, Government, concerned university and other apex bodies, wherever applicable.

KEA also reserves the right to withdraw an admission at any stage if the candidate does not fulfil the eligibility criteria or regulations prescribed by the competent authority.

Candidates Advised to Check KEA Website Regularly

Candidates have been advised to frequently visit the official KEA website for updates regarding seat availability, counselling activities, admission instructions and further notifications.

KEA has also directed participating institutes and colleges to treat Saturdays, Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days for counselling-related activities because of the limited time available for completing the admission process.
