The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued a notice dated August 31, 2026, regarding the assessment and document submission requirements for PwBD candidates seeking admission to MBBS courses through NEET UG 2026 counselling.
The notice refers to the MCC Guidelines on Assessment of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) for Admission to the MBBS Course, 2026, issued under reference U-11011/07/2026-MEC dated July 30, 2026.
Candidates who have already been found eligible under the PwBD quota as per the applicable CET 2006 regulations and have been allotted medical seats are required to obtain the prescribed PwBD eligibility certificate under Schedule-1.
The certificate must be submitted to the allotted college at the time of admission. Candidates must also send one copy of the certificate to the Karnataka Examinations Authority, mentioning their CET number and NEET roll number.
PwBD candidates are required to submit the applicable documents as specified in the MCC guidelines:
Candidates should ensure that the required appendix corresponding to their disability category is completed and submitted as instructed.
