The allotment has been prepared based on candidate merit and the options already entered during the counselling process.

Candidates should check the provisional allotment result through the official KEA website after it is published.

Choice-4 Option for Candidates Allotted Seats by Both MCC and KEA

A special Choice-4 option has been provided for candidates who have been allotted seats through both MCC and KEA counselling.

Candidates who wish to take admission to the seat allotted to them in the second round of MCC counselling can exit the KEA seat allotment process by selecting Choice-4 through the link provided on the KEA website.

Choice-4 Schedule

Activity Date / Time
Choice-4 Opens September 11, 2026, 3:00 PM
Choice-4 Closes September 14, 2026, 5:00 PM
Mode Online through KEA website

Candidates who wish to use this facility should complete the Choice-4 selection within the prescribed deadline.

KEA to Re-Run Second Round Seat Allotment

KEA has further stated that the second-round seat allotment will be re-run after the Choice-4 process.

This is being done to make use of the UG medical seats that become vacant when candidates select Choice-4 and take admission to seats allotted through MCC Round 2.

The re-run will also take into account the recent orders of the Hon'ble High Courts regarding the counselling process.

No Changes Allowed in Existing Options

Candidates should note that no changes to the existing options will be permitted during the re-run of the second-round allotment.

KEA will use the options already entered by candidates to conduct the revised second-round seat allotment.

The revised final second-round allotment result will subsequently be published.

Possibility of Upgradation

After the revised second-round allotment is conducted, candidates may be considered for upgradation to higher-order preference seats, subject to:

  • Availability of seats
  • Candidate merit
  • Existing options entered by the candidate
  • Applicable seat allotment rules

Candidates should therefore carefully check the revised final allotment result once it is published.
