The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the Medical College-Wise Fee Structure 2026-27 for MBBS admissions. The fee details have been issued based on the 2026 Karnataka Government Orders No. MED 218 RGU 2026 dated August 14, 2026, and MED 213 RGU 2026 dated August 13, 2026.

The fee document covers Government, Minority, Private UnAided and Private/Deemed University medical colleges and specifies the applicable fees for different seat categories.

Government Medical College MBBS Fees

For most Government medical colleges listed in the KEA fee structure, the annual Government fee is around INR 64,350.

For example, the fee listed for Bangalore Medical College is INR 64,350 per year under the Government category. Similar Government fees of INR 64,350 are listed for several institutions including Mysore Medical College, Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences and Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences.

Some institutions have different government fees. The ESI Medical College, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru has a listed Government fee of INR 1,08,350, while ESI Medical College, Gulbarga has a Government fee of INR 1,09,350.

MBBS Fees Are Annual

KEA has specified that all fees mentioned in the fee structure are in Indian Rupees and are applicable per one year.

Therefore, candidates should not consider the listed amount as the complete four-and-a-half-year MBBS tuition cost. Students should verify the applicable annual fee and other admission-related charges with the concerned authority/college before completing admission.
