The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the second-round mock seat allotment result for UGCET-2026 and the first-round mock seat allotment result for Medical and Dental courses. The official notice was issued on August 17, 2026. The mock allotment covers Engineering, Architecture, Yoga & Naturopathy, Farm Sciences, Veterinary, B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharma, Pharm-D, BPT, BPO, Allied Health Sciences, Medical and Dental courses.
According to KEA, candidates were provided with a combined option entry facility for UGCET and UGNEET courses. Seat allotment has been prepared together for the applicable courses on the basis of merit and the priority of options entered by candidates, as per the prescribed rules.
Due to the merging of Medical and Dental courses with UGCET courses and the revision of the All India Quota (AIQ) schedule by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), KEA has announced the mock allotment result first. Candidates will get an opportunity to review their allotment and add, remove or modify their options before the actual seat allotment.
Candidates should carefully note the following dates mentioned in the KEA notice:

After checking the mock seat allotment result, candidates can add new options, remove existing options, or change/modify their preferences until 9:00 AM on August 20, 2026. Candidates who have not previously entered options for Medical or Dental courses can also enter their choices if they are interested.
Candidates who have qualified in UGNEET but have not registered/enrolled, with Clause-A and Clause-Y only, can register/link their details on or before 6:00 PM on August 18, 2026. After completing the required process, they can enter their options after downloading the verification slip.
KEA has clearly stated that the mock seat allotment is only indicative. Candidates cannot take admission to a college based on the seat allotted in the mock result.
Since candidates are allowed to modify their preferences after viewing the mock allotment, a seat shown in the mock allotment may or may not be available in the actual seat allotment.
The authority will publish the actual seat allotment result of this round later on the KEA website.
KEA has also published college-wise, course-wise and category-wise cut-off ranks, along with other detailed instructions, on its official website. Candidates are advised to check the official KEA portal regularly for the final seat allotment schedule and admission-related instructions.

Candidates who have received a mock allotment should carefully check the college, course and category allotted to them. They should then review their preference order and make any required changes before the option-entry deadline.
