The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially released a notice regarding the Online Stray Vacancy Round for UGNEET 2025 Medical and Dental seats, following the completion of the 3rd round of seat allotment. According to the announcement dated 10 December 2025, the 3rd round results were published on 08 December 2025, and candidates allotted seats have been instructed to report to their colleges by 11 December 2025.

KEA has clarified that all candidates who were allotted seats in the 3rd round but fail to join by 11 December 2025 (5:30 PM) will have their allotment cancelled and those seats will be included in the Stray Vacancy Round.

Who Is Eligible for Stray Vacancy Round?

• Candidates who participated in Round 3 but did not receive any medical seat are eligible.

• Candidates already allotted seats under All India Quota, Deemed Universities, or other boards/institutions are not eligible.

• Candidates who paid the Medical Course Fee in Round 3 need not pay again.

Fresh Option Entry Window

• Fresh option entry opens from 11 December 2025, 7:00 PM

• Closes on 12 December 2025, 5:00 PM

KEA emphasized that options entered during Round 3 will not be considered. Candidates must enter options afresh for the Stray Vacancy Round.

Candidates who qualified in UGNEET 2025 but have not registered with KEA can still participate by paying the full course fee via Demand Draft and completing option entry in person at the KEA office on 12 December 2025.
