The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially announced an extension of the deadline for option entry under the Online Stray Vacancy Round for UGNEET-2025 Medical and Dental admissions.

As per the latest notification dated 13 December 2025, candidates can now enter their options for the Stray Vacancy Round until 15 December 2025, 11:00 AM. This extension has been provided to ensure fair opportunities for eligible candidates seeking admission to UG Medical and Dental courses for the academic year 2025.

The decision follows the directions of the Hon’ble High Court, under which KEA published a list of candidates who had paid the admission fee and downloaded the seat confirmation slip after Round 3 allotment but failed to report to the allotted colleges. Such candidates have been given a final opportunity to join the colleges.

KEA has further clarified that if these candidates still fail to take admission, the vacant seats will be included in the Stray Vacancy Round allotment. Hence, extending the option entry timeline was necessary.

Medical Course Fee Payment Details

Candidates who have not yet paid the medical course fee are allowed to transfer the fee online to the KEA account. After payment, candidates must submit the transaction details along with their CET number either:

• Directly to KEA, or

• Via email at keavikasana@gmail.com

Only after successful verification will candidates be allowed to enter options for the Stray Vacancy Round.
