KEAM 2026: Kerala AYUSH and Medical Allied Courses First Allotment Published; Join by September 30

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has published the First Phase Centralised Allotment for KEAM 2026 for admission to Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani and Medical Allied courses for the academic year 2026-27.

The allotment covers State Quota seats in Government and Private Self-Financing Colleges in Kerala. The first allotment has been published after considering valid complaints received against the provisional allotment list released on September 23, 2026.

KEAM 2026 First Allotment Published

Candidates can check their allotment details through the official CEE Kerala website. The candidate's home page and Allotment Memo will contain details such as:

  • Candidate Name
  • Roll Number
  • Allotted Course
  • Allotted College
  • Category of Allotment
  • Fee Details

Candidates who have received an allotment should download and print the Allotment Memo from their candidate home page.

Candidates can also download the Data Sheet by clicking the Data Sheet menu available on their candidate home page.

KEAM 2026 First Allotment Joining Dates

Candidates who have received an allotment must remit the fee shown in the allotment memo to the allotted college and join the allotted course/college within the prescribed period.

Joining Period: September 25 to September 30, 2026, up to 4:00 PM

Candidates must produce the following at the time of admission:

  • Printed Allotment Memo
  • Printed Data Sheet
  • Required documents as specified under Clause 11.7.1
  • Other documents required by the allotted college

Candidates should complete the admission process within the stipulated deadline.

Courses Covered Under First Phase Allotment

The first phase centralised allotment covers the following courses:

  • Ayurveda
  • Homoeopathy
  • Siddha
  • Unani
  • Agriculture
  • Horticulture
  • B.Sc.-M.Sc. Integrated Biology
  • B.Sc.-M.Sc. Integrated Microbiology
  • Veterinary
  • Forestry
  • Fisheries
  • Co-operation & Banking
  • Climate Change & Environmental Science
  • B.Tech Biotechnology

The notification states that these courses include the relevant programmes under Kerala Agricultural University as specified in the allotment process.

Fee Payment Rules for Reserved Category Candidates

Candidates allotted under certain categories are exempted from paying tuition fees at the time of admission.

This exemption applies to candidates belonging to:

  • SC/ST/OEC
  • Children of Fishermen
  • Communities eligible for educational concession equivalent to OEC benefits under the specified Government Orders
  • Candidates from Sreechitra Home
  • Candidates from Juvenile Home
  • Candidates from Nirbhaya Home

Such candidates need not pay the tuition fee at the time of admission, as stated in the notification.

Fee Rules for Self-Financing Colleges

CEE Kerala has clarified that the 2026-27 fee structure for Self-Financing Colleges has not yet been fixed.

Therefore, candidates allotted seats in Self-Financing Colleges must provisionally pay the fee applicable for the 2025-26 academic year.

If the fee fixed for 2026-27 by the Admission Supervisory Committee, Government or Hon'ble High Court is higher than the 2025-26 fee, candidates will have to pay the applicable balance amount.

Category Claims Subject to Verification

The category claims of candidates who have been provisionally allotted seats based on interim court orders or because of pending KIRTADS verification will remain subject to:

  • Final judgment of the Hon'ble Court, or
  • Final verification result of KIRTADS.

Candidates should take note that such provisional category allotments are not treated as final until the applicable verification or legal process is completed.

Second Phase Allotment to Be Announced Later

CEE Kerala has stated that the schedule for the Second Phase of the Centralised Allotment Process for Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani and Medical Allied courses will be published separately.

Before the second phase allotment, candidates will be provided an online facility for:

  • Option confirmation
  • Rearranging existing options
  • Deleting unwanted options

Candidates should regularly check the official CEE Kerala website for the second phase schedule and option-related instructions.

What Happens If Candidates Do Not Join?

Candidates who fail to join the allotted college within the prescribed period will lose their allotment.

The notification further states that the higher options of such candidates in the Medical Allied stream will not be considered for the second phase allotment.

The registration fee of candidates who do not join within the stipulated time after allotment, as well as candidates who quit their seats after taking admission, will be treated as a penalty and will not be refunded.Candidates should therefore carefully follow the joining deadline before deciding whether to accept the allotted seat.
