The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has commenced the First Phase Allotment process for Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani and Medical Allied Courses under KEAM 2026 for the academic year 2026-27.
According to the notification dated September 17, 2026, candidates included in the Ayurveda and Medical rank lists published by CEE Kerala and eligible for the respective courses as per the NEET UG 2026 Information Bulletin can register their course and college options online.
The option registration facility is available through the official CEE Kerala website and will remain open until 2:00 PM on September 22, 2026.

Candidates should complete their option registration within the prescribed deadline.
Candidates can register options for the following courses:
Candidates are required to give their options afresh for the courses and colleges they wish to be considered for in the first phase allotment.
CEE Kerala will also conduct allotment to 15% All India Quota seats in self-financing Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani colleges.
Allotment to these seats will be based on the respective State Rank List and options registered during this phase.
For these All India Quota seats, domicile will not be considered.
Candidates who are included in the relevant Ayurveda and Medical rank lists published by CEE Kerala and satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed under the NEET UG 2026 Information Bulletin can participate in the first phase option registration.
Candidates should carefully check their eligibility for each course before submitting options.
After excluding seats reserved for All India Quota, Government of India nominees, special reservations, PwD, minority and NRI quota, the remaining seats will be distributed according to the mandatory reservation principles prescribed by the Government of Kerala.
The reservation distribution mentioned in the notification is:

The SEBC reservation includes categories such as Ezhava, Muslim, Other Backward Hindu, Latin Catholic & Anglo Indian, Dheevara and related communities, Viswakarma and related communities, Kusavan and related communities, Other Backward Christian and Kudumbi.

The notification clarifies that fees for KAU and KUFOS courses are per semester, while fees for other courses are applicable per year.
The prescribed tuition fees mentioned for self-financing Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani colleges are:

For the 2026-27 academic year, the final fee for self-financing Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani colleges has not yet been fixed. Candidates allotted seats in these colleges will therefore have to pay the 2025-26 fee provisionally and pay any balance if the final 2026-27 fee is higher.
Candidates who wish to register their options must pay an option registration fee of INR 5,000 to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
For eligible SC/ST/OEC candidates and candidates covered under the specified Government Orders and certain homes/institutions, the registration fee is INR 500.
The registration fee will be adjusted against the tuition fee for candidates who join the allotted course.
Candidates who have already paid the option registration fee for MBBS/BDS courses do not need to pay it again.
Candidates who do not receive an allotment will have their registration fee refunded after completion of the allotment process, subject to providing the required bank account details.
However, candidates who receive an allotment but do not join within the stipulated period, or who quit a seat after joining, will not receive a refund of the registration fee and it will be treated as a penalty.
Candidates who receive an allotment to Government, aided or self-financing colleges must pay the applicable fee at the allotted college before joining.
Candidates from SC/ST/OEC/Fishermen categories and certain other eligible categories are exempt from tuition fees at the time of admission, subject to the conditions specified in the notification.
However, candidates allotted Management Quota seats must pay the fee shown in the allotment memo and will not be eligible for the applicable fee concession.
Candidates who receive an allotment must join the allotted college within the prescribed period.
The joining period for the first phase is:
September 25 to September 30, 2026, up to 4:00 PM
The concerned college authorities must approve and submit the list of admitted candidates through OAMS by 5:00 PM on September 30, 2026.
Candidates who fail to take admission within the stipulated period will lose the allotment and will not be considered for further centralised allotment for courses in the same stream.
Candidates whose results in the respective rank lists have been withheld due to various reasons may also register their online options.
However, their options will not be considered for allotment unless they produce the required documents, clear the defects and have their rank released before September 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
The notification includes Government, aided and self-financing institutions offering various AYUSH and allied courses.
The notification also lists several self-financing Ayurveda colleges, including Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, Ashtamgam Ayurveda Chikilsalayam and Vidhyapeedham, KMCT College of Ayurveda, Mannam Ayurveda Co-operative Medical College, Nangelil Ayurveda Medical College, Pankajakasthuri Ayurveda Medical College, PNNM Ayurveda Medical College, P N Panicker Souhruda Ayurveda Medical College, MVR Ayurveda Medical College, Sree Narayana Institute of Ayurvedic Studies & Research, Vishnu Ayurveda College and Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College.
The notification further includes Santhigiri Siddha Medical College for BSMS and Markaz Unani Medical College for BUMS.
