KEAM MBBS/BDS Admission: Joining Deadline

Candidates who receive a fresh allotment must remit the applicable fees and join the allotted course or college within the prescribed period.

Important Joining Schedule

Joining Begins: September 15, 2026
Last Date to Join: September 19, 2026
Last Time: 4:00 PM

Candidates must carry all documents mentioned in the Allotment Memo and those required under Clause 11.7.1 of the KEAM Prospectus.

All allotted candidates must complete joining before 4:00 PM on September 19, 2026.

What Happens If a Candidate Does Not Join?

CEE Kerala has clearly stated that candidates who fail to join the allotted course or college within the prescribed deadline will lose their allotment.

Such candidates will also lose all existing higher options in the stream to which the allotment belongs.

In addition, the registration fee of candidates who do not join within the stipulated period after receiving an allotment will be treated as a penalty and will not be refunded.

Candidates who quit their seats after taking admission will also have their registration fee treated as a penalty and it will not be refunded.

Therefore, candidates should carefully consider their allotment and complete admission within the prescribed timeline.

Fee Concession for Certain Categories

Candidates allotted under the SC, ST or OEC categories, along with candidates receiving benefits under the specified Government Orders, do not have to pay the token fee.

The notification also covers eligible candidates from:

  • Sree Chitra Home
  • Juvenile Home
  • Nirbhaya Home

However, if such candidates are allotted seats under Minority/NRI quota seats in Self-Financing Medical/Dental Colleges, they must pay the fee shown in the Allotment Memo.

Such candidates will not be eligible for the fee concession for those Minority/NRI quota seats.

Data Sheet Must Be Downloaded

Candidates who have received an allotment can download the Data Sheet from the candidate home page by selecting the “Data Sheet” menu option.

The Data Sheet contains the basic details of the candidate.

Candidates must take a printout of the Data Sheet and produce it before the college authorities at the time of admission.

Category Claims Under Court/KIRTADS Verification

CEE Kerala has stated that category claims of candidates provisionally allotted under interim court orders or due to pending verification by KIRTADS will remain subject to:

  • The final judgment of the Hon'ble Court, or
  • The final verification result of KIRTADS.

Candidates under such categories should therefore note that their allotment is subject to the outcome of the applicable verification or legal proceedings.

Third Phase Allotment to Be Announced Later

The schedule for the Third Phase of the Centralised Allotment Process for MBBS/BDS courses will be published separately at a later date. Candidates should regularly monitor the official CEE Kerala website for the next phase of counselling and admission updates.
