Candidates who were allotted/admitted in previous phases as well as candidates who did not receive any allotment must register their options afresh if they want to be considered for the Third Phase MBBS/BDS allotment.
However, candidates who received allotment/admission in previous phases and do not register fresh options for the third phase will retain their admission through the previous phase allotment.
The unallotted category seats will be converted during this phase as per the conditions specified in the prospectus.
Candidates who receive an allotment in the third phase but fail to join the allotted college/course within the prescribed date will lose the allotment made in the last phase as well as the third-phase allotment. They will also lose all options in the stream to which the allotment belongs.
Candidates are therefore advised to register options only for courses and colleges where they are willing to join and continue their studies if allotted.

Candidates who wish to register options afresh and who had received allotment in previous phases but either did not take admission or took a Transfer Certificate (TC) after admission are required to pay an option registration fee of INR 5,000.
The notification specifies the following treatment of the registration fee:
The registration fee can be paid through online payment.
CEE Kerala has stated that detailed fee information for MBBS and BDS courses in various colleges is available on the official website.
Since the 2026-27 fee for Self-Financing Medical/Dental Colleges has not yet been fixed, candidates allotted seats in such colleges have to provisionally pay the fee applicable for the 2025-26 academic year.
If the fee fixed for 2026-27 by the Admission Supervisory Committee, Government or Hon'ble High Court is higher than the 2025-26 fee, candidates will have to pay the applicable balance amount.
Candidates allotted MBBS/BDS seats in Self-Financing colleges have to pay the applicable fee/balance fee to the college as specified in the allotment memo.
Candidates allotted seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges have to pay the complete fee to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OEC/Fishermen categories, candidates covered under the specified Government Orders, and candidates from Sree Chitra Home, Juvenile Home and Nirbhaya Home are not required to pay the token fee.
However, candidates from these categories allotted seats under Minority/NRI quota in Self-Financing Medical/Dental Colleges will have to pay the prescribed fee and will not be eligible for the fee concession.
CEE Kerala has also issued an important warning regarding MCC All India Quota counselling.
If MCC issues a directive stating that candidates allotted/admitted through the Third Round of All India Quota counselling become ineligible for Third Round State Quota counselling, and MCC shares the list of such candidates, their options will not be considered for the Kerala Third Round allotment.
Such candidates will become ineligible to participate in the third round of Kerala State Quota counselling.
Candidates who wish to vacate seats they joined through Phase I or Phase II can exit the seat by forfeiting the option registration fee.
The deadline for doing so is 07 October 2026, 10:00 AM.
CEE Kerala has clarified that any vacancies remaining in MBBS/BDS courses after the Third Phase Allotment will be filled through Stray Vacancy Allotment.
Details regarding the Stray Vacancy Allotment will be published separately at a later stage.
Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official CEE Kerala website for further notifications, allotment details and Government Orders.
