The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal has announced the first phase of web-based counselling for MDS admissions under Management Quota (MQ1 and MQ2-NRI) for the academic year 2026-27. The counselling will be conducted for admission to MDS courses in affiliated private dental colleges in Telangana, including the Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad.

Eligible candidates whose certificates were uploaded during online registration, provisionally verified, and whose names appear in the final merit list published on September 26, 2026, can exercise web options online.

KNRUHS MDS 2026 Web Option Dates

Candidates can submit their preferred MDS courses and colleges through the designated counselling portal within the specified schedule.

Candidates must exercise their web options according to their preferred speciality and college. Allotment will be made based on the order of preferences submitted by candidates, subject to their eligibility and the available seat matrix.

KNRUHS MDS 2026 University Fee

Candidates who are allotted seats will have to pay the prescribed University fee through the online payment gateway and download their allotment letter.

The tuition fee is separate and must be paid to the respective dental college as per the fee notified by the Government of Telangana.

Who Can Exercise KNRUHS MDS Web Options?

Only candidates who are included in the final merit list for Management Quota and are eligible for the respective category can participate in the first phase of web-option entry.

Candidates can exercise options for any number of courses and colleges in which they are interested and eligible. They are advised to arrange their choices carefully according to their actual preference.

Candidates will be considered only for the category or categories for which they have registered and are eligible.

Important Instructions for KNRUHS MDS Counselling 2026

Candidates should keep the following instructions in mind while participating in the first phase counselling:

• Candidates should read the KNRUHS MDS prospectus and applicable regulations before exercising web options.
• There is no limit on the number of choices that candidates can enter.
• Candidates should select only those courses, colleges and categories in which they are interested in joining.
• Candidates who do not exercise web options in the first phase will not be eligible to exercise web options in subsequent counselling phases, as per the notification.
• Candidates eligible for MQ1 and MQ2 (NRI) should enter their preferences in the required order.
• Candidates should use a computer with an internet connection for exercising web options. Mobile phones and tablets should not be used.
• An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number while saving web options.
• Candidates should take a printout of their saved web options for future reference.
• After allotment, candidates should check their allotment status and download the allotment letter after paying the University fee.
• Candidates must report to the allotted dental college within the date mentioned in the allotment order.
• Original certificates will be verified at the allotted college. Any discrepancy may result in cancellation of the provisional allotment.
• Candidates must submit the required original certificates, bonds and pay the applicable tuition or college fee to complete admission.

Army College of Dental Sciences Seat Allotment

The notification states that Management Quota seats at Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad, will be allotted to wards of Army personnel as per the applicable AWES regulations.

KNRUHS MDS MQ2 NRI Quota Documents

Candidates allotted a seat under the MQ2 (NRI) quota will have to produce the required NRI sponsorship documents at the allotted college. These include the original sponsorship letter from the NRI relative along with relevant documents such as the sponsor's passport, residence proof, bank statement or passbook, as applicable.

Discontinuation and Withdrawal Rules

Candidates should carefully review the counselling regulations before accepting a seat. As per the notification, admitted candidates are not permitted to withdraw from the course after the second phase, in accordance with the cited government and regulatory orders.

Candidates who discontinue the course after the permitted free-exit period will have to pay a ?5 lakh discontinuation penalty for obtaining their original certificates back and will be debarred for three years from PG Dental admissions under KNRUHS, as stated in the notification.

The University fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
