The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has issued Notice No. 10 for NEET-UG 2026, announcing the revised schedule for admission to MBBS and BDS (Group A) courses for the academic year 2026-27.

The revised schedule has been issued in view of the extension granted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota counselling. Accordingly, the State CET Cell has revised the schedule for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) Round 1 for Maharashtra Health Science courses.

Candidates who are already registered, as well as candidates who have not registered under the earlier notices, should carefully follow the revised deadlines.

Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 CAP Round 1 Revised Schedule

Note: All timings mentioned above are as per server time.

Grievance Window for Existing Candidates

Candidates whose names appear in the Provisional Merit List dated August 18, 2026 have been given a grievance window from August 19 to August 20, 2026, up to 5:00 PM.

The CET Cell has specifically stated that candidates from the earlier provisional merit list will not receive another opportunity to raise grievances at a later stage. Therefore, candidates should complete the grievance process within the prescribed deadline and provide the necessary supporting documents.

Fresh Registration for MBBS and BDS

Candidates who have not registered previously under Notice No. 03 and Notice No. 08 can complete their online registration and session application from 8:00 PM on August 20 to 8:00 PM on August 21, 2026.

Candidates should ensure that all details entered in the application form are accurate before submitting the application.

Registration Fee Payment

The online registration fee payment window will remain open from 8:00 PM on August 20 to 10:00 PM on August 21, 2026.

A candidate will be considered registered for the admission process only after successful payment of the prescribed registration fee.

Candidates who had previously registered but failed to complete the fee payment can also pay the registration fee during this revised window.

Uploading of Original Documents

Candidates must upload coloured scanned copies of all original requisite documents on the portal during the specified period.

The document upload window will remain open from 8:00 PM on August 20 to 11:59 PM on August 21, 2026.

Candidates who had failed to upload their documents earlier have also been allowed to upload the required original colour-scanned documents during this period.

The CET Cell has instructed candidates to click the “Submit” button after uploading all required documents. Failure to submit the documents after uploading may result in rejection of the application.

Candidates who fail to upload and submit the required documents may not be considered for the admission process or the claimed category.

Revised Merit List and Seat Matrix

Online document verification is scheduled for August 23, 2026. On the same day, the State CET Cell will publish the Revised Registered Candidate List and Revised Provisional Merit List for Group A.

Eligible newly registered candidates and candidates who newly upload and submit all required documents will be allowed to submit grievances on August 24, 2026, up to 5:00 PM, provided they submit appropriate supporting documents.

The Final Merit List and Seat Matrix will be published on August 25, 2026.

Choice Filling for CAP Round 1

Candidates included in the applicable merit list will be able to submit their online choices/preferences from August 26 to August 29, 2026, up to 5:30 PM.

Candidates should carefully consider their preferred colleges and courses while submitting their choices.

Maharashtra NEET UG CAP Round 1 Allotment Result

The CAP Round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on August 30, 2026.

Candidates who are allotted seats will have to complete the physical joining process at the allotted college between August 31 and September 4, 2026, up to 5:30 PM.

Candidates must carry all required original documents and the prescribed fees at the time of joining.

Physical Joining and Fee Payment

Allotted candidates are required to report physically to their allotted college with original documents and the requisite fee in the prescribed form.

The notice states that payment by cheque is allowed on bank holidays, but the cheque must be replaced by a Demand Draft (DD) on the next working day. If the candidate fails to submit the DD on the next working day, the admission may be cancelled.

Important Update for NRI Candidates

NRI candidates must register on the Foreign Candidate Registration Portal before August 20, 2026, up to 11:59 PM for verification of their eligibility.

The subsequent counselling schedule for eligible NRI candidates will remain the same as the schedule mentioned above. Candidates have been advised to refer to Notice No. 04 for detailed eligibility conditions and the NRI registration process.

Important Instructions

The Maharashtra State CET Cell has clarified that the above schedule is subject to change based on directions issued by authorities including MCC, AACCC, Central Government, State Government and the Hon'ble Court.
