The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra has started the NEET UG 2026 CAP Round 1 registration process for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Government, Government-Aided, Corporation, and Private Medical and Dental Colleges across the state.

Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 can now complete the online registration through the official Maharashtra NEET UG counselling portal. The registration window will remain open until 12 August 2026, while document upload and fee payment can be completed by 13 August 2026.

Eligibility for Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling

Candidates applying for the Maharashtra State Quota counselling must fulfil the following requirements:

• Must have qualified NEET UG 2026.
• Must possess a valid Maharashtra Domicile Certificate for admission under the 85% State Quota.
• Candidates should keep all required documents ready before submitting the application.

Applicants are advised to keep scanned copies of the following documents ready during the registration process:

• NEET UG 2026 Scorecard
• Class 10 Marksheet
• Class 12 Marksheet
• Maharashtra Domicile Certificate
• Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Other supporting documents as prescribed by the State CET Cell

Merit List and Seat Allotment

After the registration process concludes, the State CET Cell will publish the Provisional Merit List on 15 August 2026. Eligible candidates will then participate in the subsequent counselling process, with the CAP Round 1 seat allotment result scheduled for 23 August 2026. Seat allotment will be based on NEET UG 2026 rank, reservation policy, candidate preferences, and seat availability.
