The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has issued Notice No. 17 dated September 21, 2026, announcing the revised schedule for CAP Round 1 for admission to BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and allied health courses for the academic year 2026-27.

The notice has been issued in continuation of Notice No. 16 dated September 14, 2026, which invited registrations for the Group B and Group C courses.

The CET Cell has now released the complete schedule for Group C and made certain changes to the previously announced schedule for Group B.

Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2026: Group B CAP Round 1 Schedule

The Group B counselling covers BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses. The revised schedule is as follows:

Candidates participating in Group B counselling should carefully check the provisional merit list and submit grievances within the prescribed period, wherever required.

Group B Grievance Submission Rules

Candidates who find any discrepancy in the provisional merit list can submit grievances from September 22 to September 23, 2026, up to 12:00 Noon.

The CET Cell has clarified that candidates must provide the necessary supporting documentary proof for making corrections.

No changes will be entertained without the required supporting documents.

Group B Choice Filling and CAP Round 1

After publication of the final merit list and seat matrix on September 24, 2026, eligible candidates will be able to submit their online choices/preferences.

The choice-filling window will remain open from September 24 to September 26, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.

The CAP Round 1 selection/allotment will be declared on September 27, 2026.

Candidates allotted seats will then have to complete physical joining at the allotted college with the required original documents and fees.

Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2026: Group C CAP Round 1 Schedule

Group C includes the following courses:

• BPTH – Bachelor of Physiotherapy
• BOTH – Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
• BASLP – Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology
• B.P&O – Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics
• BNYS – Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences

The revised Group C schedule is:

Group C Grievance Submission

Candidates participating in Group C counselling can submit grievances from September 23 to September 24, 2026, up to 10:00 PM.

As with Group B, candidates must submit the required supporting documentary proof for any correction requested.

The CET Cell has stated that changes will not be entertained without supporting documents.

Group C Choice Filling and Seat Allotment

The final merit list and seat matrix for Group C will be published on September 27, 2026.

Online choice/preference filling will then be conducted from September 27 to September 29, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.

The CAP Round 1 result will be declared on September 30, 2026.

Candidates allotted seats through CAP Round 1 will have to complete physical joining between October 1 and October 5, 2026, up to 5:30 PM.

Physical Joining and Fee Payment

Candidates allotted seats in both Group B and Group C must report to their respective allotted colleges with:

• All original documents
• Required admission documents
• Requisite fees through Demand Draft (DD)

The notice provides a specific provision for bank holidays. Payment through Cheque is allowed on bank holidays, but the cheque must be replaced by a Demand Draft on the next working day.

If the candidate fails to submit the DD on the next working day, the admission may be cancelled.
