The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, has issued an important notice for candidates applying under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category in Round 1 of PG Counselling 2026.
As per the notice dated September 28, 2026, the PwD portal for Round 1 of PG Counselling 2026 will become active on October 1, 2026.
Candidates applying under the PwD category are required to complete the prescribed medical assessment process within the specified timeline.
The Primary Medical Assessment Board will remain open from October 1, 2026, up to 5:00 PM on October 9, 2026.
Candidates are advised to visit the Primary Medical Assessment Centre within the prescribed period and complete their medical assessment.
Candidates should ensure that they do not miss the stipulated schedule for the assessment process.
The MCC notice also provides the schedule for the Appellate Medical Assessment Board.
The Appellate Medical Assessment Board will conduct medical assessments from 10:00 AM on October 5, 2026, up to 5:00 PM on October 12, 2026.
Candidates requiring information regarding the appeal process for reassessment have been advised to refer to the PG Information Bulletin.
