The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, has released the Provisional Result for UG Counselling Round 2.
According to MCC Notice No. 19, Ref. U-11011/07/2026-MEC, dated September 10, 2026, the provisional result is now available for candidates who participated in the NEET UG 2026 Round 2 counselling process.
Candidates are advised to log in and carefully check their provisional allotment details. The MCC website confirms that Round 2 UG counselling is currently underway, with the Round 2 schedule and related notices available on its official portal.
The Round 2 provisional result is indicative in nature and is subject to change before the declaration of the final result.
Candidates should carefully verify details such as their allotted college, course and other seat-allotment information.
The provisional result should not be treated as the final confirmation of admission.
Candidates who notice any discrepancy in the provisional allotment result can report it to MCC through the “Candidates Grievances and Query Redressal System” available on the Candidate Login Portal.
The deadline for reporting discrepancies is:
September 10, 2026, up to 6:00 PM
Candidates should ensure that any genuine discrepancy is reported within the prescribed time. No late representation should be assumed to be accepted.
MCC has clarified that the provisional result is only indicative in nature and subject to change.
Candidates cannot claim any right over the seat allotted in the provisional result. The provisional result also cannot be challenged before a Court of Law.
Candidates should therefore wait for the declaration of the Final Result of UG Counselling Round 2 before taking further admission-related action.
MCC has specifically advised candidates to approach the allotted college or institute only after the declaration of the Final Result.
Candidates should not report to or approach the allotted institution solely on the basis of the provisional result, as the allotment may change before the final result is published.

MCC has also published other Round 2 updates, including the Round 2 schedule and seat-related notices, on its official UG counselling pages.
Candidates should remember that the Round 2 provisional allotment is not the final allotment. Any discrepancy should be reported within the deadline specified by MCC.
Candidates should rely only on official MCC notifications and the Candidate Login Portal for the final result and subsequent reporting instructions.
