The Office of the Director of Health Services, Medical Education & Research (DME), Meghalaya has issued an office order regarding the MBBS seat allotment process for the academic session 2026-27.
According to the order dated September 17, 2026, allotment letters for candidates selected for admission to the MBBS Course 2026-27 are being provided in a standard format.
Eligible candidates have been directed to download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter from the designated website, complete all required particulars and submit the duly filled document to the office of the Director of Health Services (Medical Education & Research) within the prescribed deadline.

Eligible candidates are required to download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter in the prescribed format.
After downloading the letter, candidates must:
Candidates should complete the submission process within the prescribed deadline to ensure smooth completion of admission formalities.
After the allotment letter is processed by the DME office, candidates can take the duly processed allotment letter and submit it at the time of reporting to P.A. Sangma International Medical College.
Candidates must also carry a self-attested copy of their NEET Admit Card and NEET Score Card while reporting to the college.

The DME Meghalaya has clarified that the official list of allotted candidates communicated by the Directorate of Health Services (Medical Education & Research) to the concerned medical college will be treated as the final and authentic record of allotment.
The Provisional Seat Allotment Letter submitted by a candidate will be cross-verified by the college authorities against the official allotment list communicated by the Directorate.
If any discrepancy is found between the provisional allotment letter and the official allotment list, the official list communicated by the Directorate will prevail.
