The Directorate of Health Services, Medical Education & Research (DME), Meghalaya has published the list of candidates eligible after re-counselling conducted on September 16, 2026 for admission to 1st Year MBBS and BDS courses for the academic session 2026-27.

The notification, dated September 17, 2026, covers Central Pool seats and Shillong Medical College seats for MBBS as well as BDS seats under the State Quota. The institution allotted to each selected candidate has also been mentioned in the list.

Meghalaya NEET UG Re-Counselling 2026: Selected Candidates List

The published list contains candidates under different categories, including Unreserved, Khasi & Jaintia, Garo and SC/OST categories.

Under the MBBS Unreserved category, candidates have been allotted seats in institutions including VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, Lady Hardinge Medical College, Patna Medical College, Guwahati Medical College, K.G. Medical College, Government Medical College Hospital Chandigarh, NEIGRIHMS Shillong and other medical colleges.

The Khasi & Jaintia category list includes candidates allotted MBBS seats at institutions such as NEIGRIHMS Shillong, Maulana Azad Medical College Delhi, K.G. Medical College Lucknow, MGM Medical College Indore, Gandhi Medical College Bhopal, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences Imphal and Shillong Medical College, among others.

The Garo category list also includes MBBS allotments to institutions such as VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, Maulana Azad Medical College, Lady Hardinge Medical College, NEIGRIHMS, Gandhi Medical College Bhopal, Guwahati Medical College, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences Imphal and Shillong Medical College.

BDS Seat Allotment List Released

The notification also includes the BDS category-wise allotment list.

Under the BDS Unreserved category, Rohul Islam, with a NEET score of 472 and NEET rank 129487, has been allotted Regional Dental College, Guwahati.

The Khasi & Jaintia category includes candidates allotted seats at the Dental College, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal and Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College, Kolkata.

The Garo category includes allotments to Regional Dental College, Guwahati; Dental College, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal; and K.G. Dental College, Lucknow.

The notification also contains a BDS SC/OST category list, with Binnya Rabha allotted Regional Dental College, Guwahati.

Meghalaya MBBS/BDS Admission 2026: Reporting Date

Selected candidates are required to report in person at the office of the Director of Health Services, Medical Education & Research, Meghalaya.

What Selected Candidates Should Do Now

Candidates whose names appear in the Meghalaya MBBS/BDS re-counselling list should:

1. Check their name, NEET score, rank and allotted institution carefully.
2. Note the reporting date of September 21, 2026.
3. Reach the reporting venue by 11:30 AM.
4. Attend the process in person with one guardian.
5. Carry four passport-size photographs and required admission documents.
6. Complete course acceptance and the Bond-cum-Agreement formalities.
7. Ensure that they do not miss the prescribed reporting date.

The notification states that the terms and conditions specified in the relevant admission advertisement will remain binding on the selected candidates.
