Meghalaya NEET UG Counselling 2026: Provisional MBBS Seat Allotment Letters to Be Submitted by August 31

The Directorate of Health Services, Medical Education & Research, Meghalaya has issued an important notice for candidates selected for admission to the MBBS Course for the academic session 2026-27.

As per the office order dated August 28, 2026, provisional seat allotment letters for selected candidates are being provided in a standard format. Eligible candidates are required to download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter, fill in the required particulars and submit the completed document to the office of the Director of Health Services (Medical Education & Research), Meghalaya.

Meghalaya MBBS Counselling 2026: Important Deadline

Candidates who have been selected for MBBS admission are required to submit their duly completed Provisional Seat Allotment Letter on August 31, 2026, positively.

The completed allotment letter must be submitted to the office of the undersigned for necessary action. Candidates can subsequently collect the duly processed allotment letter for submission at the time of reporting to the allotted medical college.

Reporting at P.A. Sangma International Medical College

After the allotment letter has been processed, candidates are required to submit it at the time of reporting to P.A. Sangma International Medical College.

Candidates must also carry a self-attested copy of their NEET Admit Card and NEET Score Card while reporting to the institution.

Candidates are advised to complete the required formalities within the prescribed timeline to avoid difficulties during the admission process.

Official Allotment List Will Be Final

The Directorate has clearly stated that the official list of allotted candidates communicated by the Directorate of Health Services (Medical Education & Research) to the concerned medical college will be treated as the final and authentic record of allotment.

The provisional seat allotment letter submitted by candidates will be cross-verified by the college authorities against the official allotment list.

In case of any discrepancy between the candidate's provisional allotment letter and the official list, the official list communicated by the Directorate will prevail.

Documents to Carry for Reporting

Candidates should keep the following documents ready:

  • Provisional Seat Allotment Letter
  • NEET Admit Card
  • NEET Score Card
  • Other documents required as per the admission instructions

The NEET Admit Card and Score Card copies submitted to the college should be self-attested, as specified in the notice.
