The Office of Commissioner, Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal has released the tentative time schedule for the Mop-Up Round of MP State Combined NEET UG Counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.

The schedule, dated September 21, 2026, outlines the process for fresh registration, publication of the revised State Merit List, vacancy publication, fresh choice filling and locking, Mop-Up Round seat allotment and admission at the allotted medical or dental college.

MP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Mop-Up Round: Important Dates

Fresh Registration for MP NEET UG Mop-Up Round

Fresh registration for the Mop-Up Round will be conducted from September 28 to October 2, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.

The schedule specifically states that NEET UG 2026 qualified eligible candidates can register for the Mop-Up Round.

Candidates who are already registered for MP State Combined NEET UG Counselling 2026 do not need to register again.

Revised Merit List and Vacancy Publication

After completion of the registration process, the Revised State Merit List of registered candidates and the Eligible Candidates List will be published on October 3, 2026.

The vacancy position for the Mop-Up Round will be published on October 4, 2026.

Candidates should check the updated vacancy position before exercising their choices.

Fresh Choice Filling Mandatory

Candidates participating in the Mop-Up Round must complete fresh choice filling and choice locking.

The counselling authority has specifically mentioned that fresh choice filling is mandatory for candidates participating in the Mop-Up Round.

The choice filling and locking window will remain open from:

October 4 to October 7, 2026, up to 11:59 PM

Candidates should carefully review their available college and course options before locking their choices.

Mop-Up Round Seat Allotment

The Mop-Up Round allotment result will be published on October 10, 2026.

Candidates who are allotted MBBS or BDS seats will have to follow the prescribed admission procedure and report to the allotted medical or dental college within the given timeline.

Reporting and Admission

Candidates allotted seats in the Mop-Up Round must report in person to the allotted Medical or Dental College for:

• Document verification
• Admission formalities
• Submission/verification of required documents
• Completion of other prescribed joining requirements

The reporting and admission period will be from:

October 11 to October 14, 2026, up to 6:00 PM

Candidates should complete the admission process within the prescribed deadline.

Seat Leaving Bond Applicable

The MP counselling authority has issued an important instruction regarding candidates leaving seats after commencement of the Mop-Up Round.

As per Rule 15(1)(T), the Seat Leaving Bond will be applicable to candidates who resign after commencement of the Mop-Up Round.Candidates should carefully consider the applicable rules before resigning from a seat during or after the Mop-Up Round process.
