The Commissionerate of Medical Education (CME), Madhya Pradesh has started the Round 1 registration process for MP NEET UG Counselling 2026 from 5 August 2026. Eligible NEET UG qualified candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS programmes in government and private medical and dental colleges across the state can now submit their applications through the official counselling portal.
A major highlight of this year's admission process is the implementation of a 5% reservation for eligible Government School students, providing additional opportunities for candidates who have completed their schooling in government institutions as per the notified eligibility criteria.

The introduction of the 5% Government School reservation is one of the key changes in the MP NEET UG Counselling 2026 process. Eligible students can claim the reservation benefits while applying, subject to verification of the prescribed documents and fulfilment of eligibility conditions.
Candidates are advised to complete the registration process well before the deadline and keep all required documents ready for merit list preparation, choice filling, and subsequent admission rounds.
After the publication of the State Merit List on 14 August, candidates will be able to submit and lock their preferred colleges between 15 August and 18 August 2026. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on 20 August 2026, and selected candidates must report to their allotted institutes between 21 August and 27 August 2026 to confirm admission.
