The Office of Commissioner, Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh has released the tentative schedule for the Second Round of MP State Combined NEET UG Counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.

The Round 2 counselling process will include fresh registration, editing for eligible registered candidates, vacancy publication, fresh choice filling and locking, seat allotment and admission at the allotted medical or dental college.

Fresh Choice Filling Mandatory for Round 2

Candidates who wish to participate in the second round must complete fresh choice filling and choice locking. This requirement also applies to candidates admitted through Round 1 who have opted for upgradation.

Candidates opting for upgradation must lock their fresh choices. If choices are not locked, the candidate will remain admitted to the Round 1 allotted college and will not be eligible for upgradation in the Mop-Up Round.

Upgradation and Resignation Rules

Candidates admitted through Round 2 must select their upgradation preference (YES/NO) at the time of admission at the college level. The option can be edited through the candidate login until September 18, 2026, 11:59 PM.

Candidates resigning or cancelling admission between September 12 and September 18, 2026 will be required to pay INR 2 lakh for non-NRI candidates and INR 10 lakh for NRI candidates. Such candidates will also become ineligible for subsequent counselling rounds.
