The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has released the 2nd revised schedule for the first round of counselling and admission to MBBS and BDS courses under State Quota seats. The revised schedule has been issued following modifications in the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) counselling schedule for All India Quota seats and the revised State Quota counselling schedule published on August 19, 2026.

The latest notice, No. OJEE/430 dated August 20, 2026, revises the tentative counselling and admission schedule previously notified through notices dated August 5, 2026 (OJEE/398) and August 16, 2026 (OJEE/420).

All candidates who have registered for Round 1 and have been included in the State Merit List are advised to check the revised schedule carefully. Candidates who have not yet completed choice filling can log in to their candidate account and complete the process within the prescribed deadline.

Choice Filling Deadline

According to the revised schedule, all State Merit Listed candidates can complete their choice filling from August 14 at 8:30 PM until August 22, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Candidates who have not filled their choices yet have been specifically advised to log in to their candidate account and complete the choice filling activity within the deadline.

The choice locking activity will start on August 22, 2026, at 11:30 AM.

Round 1 Seat Allotment Dates

After completion of choice filling and data reconciliation, the Round 1 provisional seat allotment will be released on August 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

Candidates will be given an opportunity to raise queries, if any, regarding the provisional allotment. The invitation for queries will be issued on August 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

The Round 1 final allotment along with the facility to download the allotment letter will be available on August 26, 2026, at 11:30 AM.

Reporting and Provisional Admission

Candidates who receive an allotment in Round 1 will have to complete provisional admission by paying the prescribed admission fees and reporting at the OJEE Cell, Gandamunda.

Candidates are required to report with their original documents and signed bond between August 28 and September 6, 2026.

The notice further states that the college-wise reporting schedule and necessary instructions will be notified separately. Candidates must follow the instructions issued before proceeding with registration and reporting.

What Candidates Should Do

Candidates participating in Odisha NEET UG State Quota counselling should carefully follow the revised schedule and complete all activities within the specified deadlines.

Those who have not yet submitted their choices should immediately log in and complete choice filling before 5:00 PM on August 22, 2026.

Candidates should also keep their original documents ready for the reporting and admission process after the final allotment.

All other activities mentioned in the earlier tentative schedule for State Quota counselling and admission will remain unchanged, unless separately notified by OJEE.
