The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has issued Notice No. OJEE/0557 dated October 3, 2026, for candidates who wish to participate in the 2nd Round counselling and admission process for BAMS/BHMS courses for the academic year 2026-27.
The notice is applicable to NEET UG 2026 qualified and already registered candidates who wish to participate in the counselling and admission process for State Quota seats in BAMS and BHMS programmes. Candidates have been advised to go through the “Information & Instructions for Counselling & Admission to BAMS/BHMS Courses, 2026-27” before participating in Round 2.
1. Newly Registered Candidates in Round 2:
All newly registered candidates in the second round have to fill fresh choices. They can fill choices after successfully completing the registration process and paying the counselling fee.
2. Candidates Not Allotted a Seat in Round 1:
Candidates who were not allotted any seat in Round 1 do not need to fill fresh choices. However, candidates who want to modify their choices submitted during Round 1 must provide consent as “Yes” to fill or modify their choices for Round 2.
3. Candidates Allotted a Seat in Round 1 but Did Not Complete Physical Reporting:
Candidates who received a Round 1 allotment but did not complete the physical reporting process must fill fresh choices if they want to participate in Round 2. Their previous choices will be treated as null and void.
4. Candidates Who Withdrew from Counselling:
Candidates who withdrew from the counselling process for any reason and now wish to participate in Round 2 can fill fresh choices by providing consent as “Yes” after logging into their candidate account.
5. Candidates Whose Previous Allotment Was Cancelled:
Candidates whose previously allotted seat was cancelled for any reason, including Category/Sub-Category Change, must fill fresh choices by giving the required consent. Their previous choices will be treated as null and void.
OJEE has specifically stated that candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1, physically reported at the OJEE Office, Gandamunda, and selected the “FLOAT” option cannot modify or fill choices in any further rounds of web counselling.
Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 but did not physically report at the OJEE Office, Gandamunda, will be treated as non-reported candidates. Such candidates will not be considered in further rounds of counselling and will have to follow the applicable instructions mentioned above.
