Puducherry NEET UG Counselling 2026: Round 1 Provisional Allotment List Released for MBBS, BDS, BAMS

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Puducherry, has released the Round 1 Provisional Allotment List for UG NEET-based Professional Courses for the academic session 2026-27.

As per Notice Ref. No. CENTAC/UG-NEET/2026/13 dated September 3, 2026, the Round 1 provisional allotment list has been published after disposing of the objections and grievances raised by candidates against the Draft Allotment List.

The allotment list covers M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.A.M.S. and B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses under various categories including Government, Management, NRI and Sports Quota.

CENTAC NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment 2026

According to CENTAC, a total of 929 seats are available across the listed UG NEET-based courses, while 908 seats have been allotted in Round 1.

Sri Venkateshwaraa College Seats Excluded from Round 1 Draft Allotment

CENTAC has clarified that, as per its earlier notice dated September 1, 2026, the MBBS seats at Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital and Research Centre and the BDS seats at Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College were excluded from the Round 1 Draft Allotment.

Candidates should therefore consider the available seat position mentioned in the Round 1 Provisional Allotment List while checking their allotment status.

Candidates Can Download Allotment Order

Candidates can check their Round 1 allotment status using their Dashboard login credentials.

The allotment order can be downloaded from September 3, 2026 onwards.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat are required to report to the Principal of the allotted college along with their original certificates and allotment order.

The joining process has started from September 3, 2026, and the last date for joining is:

September 7, 2026, up to 5:00 PM

Admission will be subject to the production of all required original certificates and completion of the prescribed admission formalities.

Special Instructions for Sports Quota Candidates

Candidates allotted seats under the Sports Quota (MSP) have been instructed to report to the CENTAC office on September 4, 2026 for verification of their original documents.

The allotment order will be enabled only after successful verification of the required documents.

NRI Candidates Required to Complete Document Verification

Candidates allotted seats under the NRI Quota must report to the CENTAC office for verification of their original documents.

The verification will be conducted:

Dates: September 4 to September 7, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

The allotment order will be enabled only after successful verification of the required documents.

CENTAC NEET UG Counselling 2026 Fee Payment

CENTAC has stated that the fee structure for UG NEET-based courses for the academic year 2026-27 has been uploaded on its official website.

Candidates who have been allotted seats are required to transfer the applicable fee to the CENTAC account by following the payment instructions available in their Dashboard.

Candidates have been advised to carefully read the HELP Instructions before making the payment.

The fee collected by CENTAC will subsequently be transferred to the concerned colleges.

Fee Exemptions for Certain Puducherry Candidates

CENTAC has specified fee-payment exemptions for certain categories of candidates allotted seats under the Government Quota.

  • Puducherry SC/ST candidates allotted Government Quota seats do not need to make fee payments, as the fee will be paid by the Ad Welfare Department.
  • Puducherry EBC candidates allotted Government Quota seats do not need to make fee payments, as the fee will be paid by the Fisheries Department.
  • Puducherry candidates allotted seats under the 10% Government School reservation do not need to make fee payments.

JIPMER Internal-Puducherry Candidates Removed from CENTAC Allotment

CENTAC has also clarified that candidates who were allotted seats in JIPMER under the “Internal-Puducherry U.T. Domicile” category through the MCC Provisional NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 and who did not provide willingness to participate in CENTAC counselling have been removed from the CENTAC Round 1 allotment list for UG NEET courses.

What Candidates Should Do After Allotment

Candidates who have received a Round 1 seat should download their allotment order, arrange all required original certificates and report to the allotted college within the prescribed timeline.

Candidates must complete document verification, fee payment and other admission formalities as applicable. Special category candidates, including Sports and NRI candidates, should follow the separate document-verification instructions issued by CENTAC. The last date for joining the allotted college is September 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
