Punjab NEET MDS Counselling 2026: Round 2 Provisional Allotment List Released for MDS Admission

The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot has released the provisional allotment list for the 2nd Round of Online Counselling for admission to MDS courses under NEET PG MDS 2026.

The provisional allotment list is dated September 25, 2026 and contains details of candidates allotted seats in various MDS specialties and dental colleges across Punjab.

The list includes candidates allotted seats under Government Quota, Management Quota, Minority Quota and Category B, as applicable. It also records cases where candidates have been shifted to another college, course, quota or category following the Round 2 counselling process.

BFUHS NEET MDS Round 2 Provisional Allotment 2026

The provisional allotment list contains 42 candidate entries across the five-page list.

Candidates have been allotted MDS specialties including:

  • Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Prosthodontics & Crown Bridge
  • Pedodontia and Preventive Dentistry
  • Periodontia / Periodontology
  • Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics
  • Orthodontics
  • Oral Medicine and Radiology

The allotments have been made across Government and private dental colleges participating in the Punjab MDS counselling process.

Government Dental Colleges Included in Allotment

Several candidates have been allotted seats at Government dental institutions, including:

  • Government Dental College, Amritsar
  • Government Dental College, Patiala
  • National Dental College, Dera Bassi
  • Guru Nanak Dev Dental College, Sunam
  • Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College, Ludhiana
  • Luxmi Bai Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Patiala

The list also includes allotments to private dental institutions such as Dasmesh Institute of Research & Dental Sciences, Faridkot; Genesis Institute of Dental Sciences & Research, Ferozepur; SGRD Institute of Dental Sciences & Research, Amritsar; Christian Dental College, Ludhiana; and K.G. Dental College-related allotments as applicable in the counselling process.

Candidate-Wise Allotment Details

The provisional list contains the candidate's registration number, NEET PG roll number, name, father's name, applied category, BDS university, allotted college, allotted course, quota and category.

Where applicable, the list also provides details of the shifted college, shifted course, shifted quota and shifted category.

Some candidates have received upgraded or changed allotments during Round 2.

For example, Prinkle Gupta was allotted Prosthodontics & Crown Bridge at Government Dental College, Amritsar and shifted to Pedodontia and Preventive Dentistry at the same institution under Government Quota.

Similarly, Ruby Khatun, initially allotted Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics at Government Dental College, Patiala under the EWS category, was shifted to Periodontia at Government Dental College, Amritsar under the EWS category.

Management Quota Allotments

The Round 2 provisional list also includes candidates allotted seats under the Management Quota.

Candidates have been allotted management quota seats at institutions including:

  • Dasmesh Institute of Research & Dental Sciences, Faridkot
  • SGRD Institute of Dental Sciences & Research, Amritsar
  • National Dental College, Dera Bassi
  • Genesis Institute of Dental Sciences & Research, Ferozepur
  • Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College, Ludhiana
  • Guru Nanak Dev Dental College, Sunam

The list includes General Category, Backward Classes and Scheduled Caste candidates under applicable quota provisions.

Minority Quota Allotment

The provisional allotment list also contains an allotment under the Minority Quota.

Simranjeet Kaur, listed under the EWS/General category, was allotted Pedodontia and Preventive Dentistry at SGRD Institute of Dental Sciences & Research, Amritsar under the Minority Quota and General Category.

The candidate was subsequently shifted to Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College, Ludhiana, for Pedodontia and Preventive Dentistry under Government Quota and IP category.

Category-Wise Allotments

The list includes candidates from several categories, including:

  • General
  • EWS
  • EWS/General
  • BC/General
  • BC
  • SC
  • BC/Physically Disabled

One candidate, Poonamdeep Kaur, was allotted Pedodontia and Preventive Dentistry at Government Dental College, Amritsar under Government Quota and PwD (IP) category.

Candidates With Shifted Allotments

Several candidates in the Round 2 list have been shifted from their originally allotted college/course/category.

These changes include:

  • Change of college
  • Change of specialty/course
  • Change of quota
  • Change of category

Candidates should therefore carefully check both the Allotted College/Allotted Course and the Shifted College/Shifted Course columns in the official provisional allotment list before proceeding with admission formalities.
