The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot has announced the revised schedule for the remaining admission and counselling process for NEET PG-MDS 2026 state quota seats. The revised schedule has been issued in consonance with the updated timetable released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
As per the university notice, candidates who are participating in the Punjab NEET PG-MDS 2026 admission process must complete the pending application-related formalities within the prescribed deadlines. The university has also announced the schedule for Christian and Sikh Minority Quota verification, provisional merit list publication, objections and the first round of online PG-MDS counselling.

Candidates who need to make corrections to their online submitted application form can do so through personal appearance at BFUHS up to 12:00 Noon on August 31, 2026.
The last date for depositing the application fee is also August 31, 2026, up to 12:00 Noon. The prescribed application fee is Rs. 5,900, including 18% GST, while SC candidates have to pay Rs. 2,950.
Candidates are advised to complete the fee payment within the deadline to avoid any issues during the counselling process.
Candidates applying under the PCMS category are required to submit a scanned copy of their online Admission Application Form along with self-attested copies of certificates, NOC, Eligibility Certificate issued by the competent authority and proof of fee remittance.
These documents have to be submitted by hand at the Admission Branch, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, by August 31, 2026, up to 12:00 Noon.
For candidates seeking admission under the NRI quota, the last date for submission of the hard copy of the admission application form at the university office is August 31, 2026, up to 12:00 Noon.
Candidates seeking admission through the NRI quota are required to obtain an Eligibility Certificate from BFUHS before applying. The application form for obtaining the Eligibility Certificate and the admission application form are available separately on the university website.
BFUHS has also scheduled the verification of documents and eligibility for candidates applying under the Christian and Sikh Minority Quota.

The Provisional Merit List for NEET PG-MDS 2026 will be displayed on August 31, 2026.
Candidates who have any objection to the provisional merit list can submit their objections by September 1, 2026, up to 3:00 PM. The university has clarified that objections can be submitted only through personal appearance/visit at the Admission Branch, BFUHS, Faridkot, along with the relevant supporting documents.
If there is any change in the provisional merit list after considering the objections, the revised list will be displayed on the BFUHS website on September 1, 2026.
The first round of online PG-MDS counselling will begin with the choice filling process from September 2 to September 4, 2026.
During this period, eligible NEET PG-MDS candidates will be required to fill their preferred college and speciality choices through the online counselling system.
Candidates should carefully review the available colleges and specialities before submitting their choices.
BFUHS will display the Provisional Allotment/Result for Round 1 on September 8, 2026.
Candidates should check their allotment status through the university website and carefully verify the allotted college, speciality and other details.
If candidates have any objection regarding the provisional allotment, they can submit the objection through personal appearance on September 9, 2026, up to 3:00 PM.
If the allotment changes after consideration of objections, the revised provisional allotment will also be displayed on the university website on September 9, 2026.
Candidates allotted seats in the first round will have to report to their respective allotted colleges between September 10 and September 11, 2026.
Candidates are also required to deposit the applicable six-month fee through the university payment gateway available in their candidate login. Candidates should complete reporting and fee payment within the prescribed timeline to secure their allotted MDS seat.
