The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has issued a public notice regarding the partially revised schedule for the 3rd Round of UG Medical/Dental Online Punjab State Counselling under NEET UG 2026. The notice was issued by the Admission Branch on October 1, 2026, under notice number 03-BFUHS/Admissions/2026/257.

The revised schedule has been issued in continuation of the earlier Round 3 counselling schedule published on September 25, 2026. According to BFUHS, the schedule has been revised keeping in view the last date for joining seats allotted under the 3rd Round of All India Quota (AIQ) counselling, which is October 9, 2026. The revision is intended to facilitate candidates who may wish to seek admission against available seats under the Punjab State Quota, subject to the applicable eligibility criteria, rules and counselling conditions.

As per the revised schedule, candidates will be able to fill and submit their online choices/preferences for Course, College, Quota and Category from October 5 to October 6, 2026 through the online counselling portal.

The processing of seat allotment will be carried out on October 7, 2026, followed by the display of the provisional seat allotment/result on October 8, 2026.

Candidates who have any objection to the provisional seat allotment will be required to submit their objections by October 9, 2026, up to 3:00 PM. BFUHS has specified that objections must be submitted in person by the candidate at the Admission Branch, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.

Importantly, objections submitted through email, post or any other mode will not be entertained. Candidates submitting an objection must also provide the relevant supporting documents or records along with their objection.

Punjab NEET UG 2026 Round 3 Revised Schedule

BFUHS has clarified that the remaining schedule, terms and conditions of the 3rd Round of UG Medical/Dental Online Punjab State Counselling under NEET UG 2026 will remain unchanged.

Candidates who are eligible and interested in participating in the Punjab State Quota counselling should carefully complete their choice filling within the revised timeline. Candidates are also advised to check the official BFUHS website regularly for further counselling updates, instructions and notices.

The revised schedule is particularly relevant for candidates considering Punjab State Quota seats after the Round 3 All India Quota counselling. However, admission will remain subject to the applicable eligibility requirements and counselling rules.
