According to the official communication dated October 3, 2026, physical verification of applicants under the Sikh Minority Quota was conducted at the institute on October 3, 2026. The verification was carried out for candidates who had applied for MBBS/BDS admissions under the Sikh Minority Quota through the Punjab NEET UG 2026 counselling process.
The institute reported that 19 candidates appeared physically for verification. Out of these candidates, all 19 candidates were found eligible, while no candidate was declared ineligible during the verification process.
The official verification status is as follows:
| Verification Status | Number of Candidates |
|---|---|
| Appeared Candidates | 19 |
| Eligible Candidates | 19 |
| Not Eligible | Nil |
The institute stated that the result of physical verification along with remarks was enclosed with the communication and submitted to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot for further information and necessary action.
The verification update is relevant for candidates participating in the third round of Punjab NEET UG 2026 counselling for MBBS/BDS courses under the Sikh Minority Quota. Candidates who have been verified as eligible should continue to follow the BFUHS counselling schedule for further steps, including choice filling, seat allotment, fee payment and reporting, wherever applicable.
Candidates should note that physical verification and inclusion in the eligible list do not by themselves guarantee admission. Final admission will depend on the applicable counselling rules, merit, availability of seats, candidate preferences, document verification and other eligibility requirements prescribed by the competent authority.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official BFUHS counselling updates and carefully follow all deadlines related to the Round 3 admission process.
