Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has withdrawn the public notice dated October 1, 2026 that had partially modified the schedule for the 3rd Round of UG Medical/Dental Online Punjab State Counselling under NEET UG 2026. The university issued the withdrawal notice on October 2, 2026, stating that the earlier modification notice has been withdrawn with immediate effect.

According to the latest public notice, Public Notice No. 03-BFUHS/Admissions/2026/257 dated October 1, 2026 is no longer applicable. BFUHS has clarified that the Round 3 counselling schedule published through the public notice dated September 25, 2026 will remain in force and candidates must follow the original schedule accordingly.

As per the schedule reproduced in the latest BFUHS notice, candidates will be required to complete the online filling and submission of choices/preferences for course, college, quota and category through the online counselling portal from October 6 to October 7, 2026.

The processing of seat allotment for Punjab NEET UG 2026 Round 3 counselling will be conducted from October 8 to October 9, 2026. Following the seat allotment process, BFUHS will display the provisional seat allotment/result on October 10, 2026.

Candidates who have objections to the provisional seat allotment will be required to submit their objections along with relevant supporting documents or records in person at the Admission Branch, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, by October 11, 2026, up to 03:00 PM.

BFUHS has specifically stated that objections submitted through e-mail, post or any other mode will not be entertained. Candidates who wish to raise an objection must therefore ensure that they personally submit the required documents at the university's Admission Branch within the prescribed deadline.

The university has further clarified that all other terms, conditions and instructions contained in the Public Notice dated September 25, 2026 will remain unchanged. Candidates participating in Punjab State NEET UG 2026 counselling are advised to follow the schedule issued on September 25, 2026 and disregard the withdrawn modification notice dated October 1, 2026.
