Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot has issued a revised schedule for the First Round of Online Counselling under NEET UG 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.
According to the revised schedule dated August 25, 2026, the university has extended the choice-filling period and postponed the provisional seat allotment result. Candidates participating in the first round of Punjab NEET UG counselling should follow the revised dates for choice filling, objections, seat allotment and reporting.

Under the revised schedule, candidates were allowed to submit their online choices and preferences for the first round until August 23, 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
Candidates participating in the counselling process were required to submit their preferences through the prescribed online counselling process.
The provisional seat allotment result, which was earlier scheduled for August 22, has now been revised to August 27, 2026.
Candidates will be able to check their provisional allotment status as per the instructions issued by BFUHS.
Candidates who have any objection regarding the provisional seat allotment can submit their objections by August 28, 2026.
Importantly, BFUHS has specified that objections will be accepted only through personal appearance at the Admission Branch, BFUHS, Faridkot, along with the relevant supporting documents.
Objections submitted through email or any other electronic mode will not be entertained.
After considering and disposing of valid objections, BFUHS will publish the revised provisional seat allotment result, if any, on August 29, 2026.
Candidates should carefully check the revised allotment and follow the instructions issued by the university.
Provisionally allotted candidates will have to report physically to their respective allotted colleges between August 30 and September 5, 2026.
