The NEET UG Medical & Dental Admission/Counselling Board, Rajasthan has issued the schedule for Round 3 of NEET UG Medical/Dental Counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Rajasthan.

The notification is issued in compliance with the Round 3 NEET UG 2026 schedule released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The counselling process includes fresh registration, security deposit, choice filling, merit list publication, seat allotment, fee payment and reporting.

Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3: Important Dates

Fresh Candidates Must Complete Registration

Fresh candidates participating in Round 3 must complete both Part 1 and Part 2 of the online application form.

The registration process is mandatory for the subsequent counselling process.

Candidates who have already registered in earlier rounds do not need to register again.

However, candidates registered in Round 1 or Round 2 who did not complete Part 2 of the application form can complete it during the Round 3 registration period.

Round 2 Non-Joined Candidates Must Re-Register

Candidates who were allotted or upgraded to a seat in Round 2 but did not join or report to the allotted seat and wish to participate in Round 3 must:

• Re-register/fill a fresh application
• Pay the required application fee
• Deposit the applicable security amount again

The notification states that the security amount of such candidates was forfeited due to non-joining in Round 2.

Rajasthan NEET UG Round 3 Application Fee

Fresh candidates must pay the prescribed non-refundable application fee:

Candidates who have already registered and paid the registration fee in earlier rounds do not need to pay the registration fee again, subject to the applicable rules.

Security Deposit for Round 3

Candidates participating in Round 3 must deposit the applicable security amount.

Candidates who deposit INR 2,00,000 or INR 5,00,000, as applicable, will automatically become eligible to fill choices for the specified government medical, dental, society, RUHS CMS, RUHS CDS, ESIC Medical College and private dental college seats mentioned in the notification.

Security Deposit Rules for Earlier-Round Candidates

Candidates who deposited the applicable security amount in Round 1 or Round 2 generally do not need to deposit it again.

However, candidates whose security deposit was forfeited because they did not join their Round 2 allotment must deposit the security amount again for Round 3.

Candidates who did not deposit the applicable security amount earlier, or who need to pay a difference amount because of the type of seat, course or college selected, must deposit the applicable amount online.

Failure to deposit the required security amount will make the candidate ineligible for allotment against the applicable seat or seat type.

Round 3 Choice Filling Is Mandatory

Candidates participating in Round 3 must submit fresh choices.

The choices submitted during Round 1 and Round 2 will not be considered for Round 3 allotment.

Fresh choices must be filled from:

September 24 to October 7, 2026

The choices will be automatically locked at 11:45 PM on October 7, 2026.

Candidates can change their choices multiple times during the choice-filling period before auto-locking.

Who Can Participate in Round 3?

The notification lists the following candidates as eligible to participate in Round 3, subject to applicable rules:

1. Registered candidates who did not receive an allotment in Round 1 or Round 2.
2. Registered candidates with Joined status who wish to upgrade.
3. Candidates who received a Round 1 allotment and resigned without forfeiture of their security amount within the prescribed period.
4. Newly registered candidates.
5. Re-registered candidates.
6. Candidates falling under Clause XI – Other of the eligibility criteria, including applicable All India candidates, who may be considered against vacant seats after exhaustion of the State Merit List.

Candidates with Joined status who do not want an upgrade and wish to retain their existing seat do not need to fill fresh choices for Round 3.

Virtual Vacancies Will Be Considered

Candidates participating in Round 3 should consider both real and virtual vacancies while filling choices.

A virtual vacancy may arise when a candidate who has already joined a seat opts for upgradation. The existing seat may be shown as a virtual vacancy during the allotment process.

If the earlier candidate vacates the seat after receiving an upgrade, the virtual vacancy can become a real vacancy and may then be allotted according to merit and applicable rules.

Vacancies may also arise due to exhaustion of NRI, PwBD, PwD and other category candidates.

PwBD and PwD Candidates

Candidates participating under the PwBD/PwD category must upload the eligibility certificate issued by an MCC-designated centre.

Participation under the PwBD/PwD category will be subject to online verification of the uploaded eligibility certificate.

Candidates must bring the original eligibility certificate along with other original documents at the time of joining/reporting.

Defence, Para-Military and NRI Verification

Defence, Para-Military and NRI candidates are required to appear physically before the admission board for certificate verification.

The verification is scheduled for:

October 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

The verification will be conducted at the Academic Block, SMS Medical College, Jaipur, according to the notification.

Round 3 Allotment Result and Fee Payment

The indicative Round 3 allotment result will be published online on October 9, 2026.

The provisional Round 3 allotment result will be published on October 10, 2026.

Candidates can download their allotment letters from October 11 to October 15, 2026.

Allotted candidates must deposit the prescribed one-year tuition fee during the same period. Fee payment will close at 12:30 PM on October 15, 2026.

Reporting at Allotted College

Candidates allotted seats in Round 3 must report to the designated college with:

• Printed allotment letter
• Original documents
• Required bonds
• Two copies of the application form
• Two sets of photocopies of relevant documents
• Four copies of the allotment letter
• Fee receipt
• Other documents prescribed in the information bulletin

Reporting will be conducted from October 11 to October 15, 2026, generally from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

On October 15, reporting will continue only up to 2:00 PM.

Important Rules After Round 3 Allotment

Candidates should carefully note the consequences of Round 3 allotment.

A candidate who receives a fresh or upgraded Round 3 seat but does not join will have their security amount forfeited and will not be eligible for further counselling rounds.

Candidates who have Joined status after Round 3 will also not be permitted to participate in further rounds.

A candidate who joins a Round 3 seat or retains an earlier-round seat in Round 3 will not be allowed to resign the course before the last date of admissions, as scheduled by MCC/NMC/DCI, and applicable bond conditions will apply.

Candidates Can Edit Application Details

Part 2 and partially Part 1 of the application form can be edited until final submission.

Candidates can submit requests for changes or corrections, including caste and additional category details, from September 23 to October 3, 2026.
