Telangana MDS Admission 2026: KNRUHS Management Quota Registration Begins, Apply by September 13

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal has issued a notification for admission to MDS courses under Management Quota for the academic year 2026-27.

As per the notification dated September 8, 2026, online applications are invited from NEET MDS 2026 qualified Indian Nationals, OCI, PIO and NRI candidates for admission to MDS courses in dental colleges affiliated with KNRUHS in Telangana.

The online registration process is being conducted to determine the State Merit position for Management Quota seats. The provisional merit list will be prepared after scrutiny of the certificates uploaded by candidates. The final number of Management Quota seats will be notified on the KNRUHS website before web options are opened.

NEET MDS 2026 Cut-Off Scores

Candidates must have qualified NEET MDS 2026 by securing the prescribed cutoff score or above.

The lower percentile for reserved categories is applicable only for eligibility. KNRUHS has clarified that there are no category reservations under Management Quota.

Who Can Apply for Telangana MDS Management Quota?

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements specified by KNRUHS. Applicants must:

  • Qualify NEET MDS 2026 with the prescribed cutoff score.
  • Hold a BDS degree from an institution recognized by the Dental Council of India.
  • Submit a permanent dental registration certificate if the BDS degree was obtained from an institution outside India.
  • Be registered with the National Dental Commission/Dental Council of India/Telangana State Dental Council.
  • Complete the required internship by May 31, 2026 and submit the Internship Completion Certificate.

Registration Fee for MDS Management Quota

Candidates applying for MDS Management Quota seats must pay a Registration and Verification Fee of INR 10,000, excluding applicable bank transaction charges.

The fee can be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking.

The registration and processing fee is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted to a future date.

Candidates who completed their BDS degree from another state must also pay an equivalency fee of INR 5,000. Candidates whose BDS degree was obtained from another country are required to pay an equivalency fee of INR 7,000.

Documents Required for Online Registration

Candidates need to upload the required certificates and documents, including:

  • Latest passport-size photograph
  • NEET MDS 2026 Admit Card
  • NEET MDS 2026 Score Card
  • Original/Provisional BDS Degree Certificate
  • Aadhaar Card
  • BDS study certificates
  • Category certificate, if applicable for NEET MDS eligibility
  • Internship Completion Certificate
  • Permanent Dental Council Registration Certificate
  • Permanent dental registration certificate for candidates with foreign BDS degrees
  • NRI sponsorship and status documents, wherever applicable
  • Institutional Quota sponsorship certificate, wherever applicable
  • Required Army Dental College documents, wherever applicable.

Management Quota Seat Distribution

KNRUHS will separately display the available MDS Management Quota seats on its website before online counselling.

The final seat matrix for MQ-1, MQ-2 (NRI) and MQ-3 categories will also be published before candidates exercise their web options.

For Army Dental College, MDS seats are reserved for wards of Army personnel.

Under the applicable Telangana Government order, 15% of MQ-1 seats are open to candidates from across India, while the remaining 85% are reserved for local candidates of Telangana, subject to the prescribed local candidature rules.

Web Options Schedule to Be Announced Separately

The current notification is for determining the State Merit position based on NEET MDS 2026 rank.

KNRUHS has clarified that the schedule for exercising web options and the subsequent counselling procedure will be notified separately on the University website. Candidates should regularly check the official website for further updates.

Candidates should also note that obtaining a merit position does not automatically establish eligibility or guarantee admission. Eligibility will be examined after scrutiny of the application and uploaded certificates.

  1. Visit the official KNRUHS MDS registration portal.
  2. Complete the online registration.
  3. Enter the required NEET MDS 2026 and academic details.
  4. Upload the prescribed scanned original certificates.
  5. Pay the applicable registration and verification fee online.
  6. Review all information carefully.
  7. Submit the application within the prescribed deadline.
  8. Keep a printout of the submitted application for future admission formalities.
