The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana has issued a notice regarding the MBBS/BDS Admissions under Management Quota for the academic year 2026-27.

The notice concerns the admission of Sri. Ala Praveen Prakash to an MBBS seat under the Cat-C/NRI category at CMR Institute of Medical Sciences, Kandlakoya.

The decision has been taken in compliance with the orders of the Hon’ble High Court of Telangana in W.P. No. 32097 of 2026 dated September 24, 2026.

CMR Institute MBBS Seat Removed from Second Phase Vacancy

As per the KNRUHS notice, Sri. Ala Praveen Prakash, who was allotted an MBBS seat at CMR Institute of Medical Sciences during the First Phase of Counselling, has now been permitted to report and join the allotted seat in compliance with the High Court order.

Accordingly, the candidate has been admitted to the Cat-C/NRI MBBS seat for the academic year 2026-27.

Since the seat has now been filled, KNRUHS has directed that it be removed from the vacancy position notified for the Second Phase of Counselling.

High Court Order Leads to Admission

The admission has been carried out in compliance with the orders of the Hon’ble High Court of Telangana in W.P. No. 32097 of 2026.

Following the court directions, KNRUHS permitted the candidate to report and join the MBBS seat that had been allotted to him during the First Phase of Counselling.

The university has subsequently confirmed the candidate's admission to the Cat-C/NRI seat.

Impact on Second Phase Counselling

The seat admitted to the candidate will no longer be available for allotment during the Second Phase of Counselling.

KNRUHS has therefore removed the concerned Cat-C/NRI seat at CMR Institute of Medical Sciences, Kandlakoya from the vacancy position notified for the second phase.Candidates participating in the second phase should take note of this change while checking the available vacancy position.
