Candidates allotted seats in Government Medical Colleges have to pay the applicable tuition fee at the respective college as notified by the college.
Candidates allotted seats in Private Medical Colleges have to pay the tuition fee as prescribed under G.O.Ms.No. 98, HM&FW(C1) Department, dated August 7, 2026.

Candidates are therefore advised to exercise choices carefully and only select colleges where they are willing to take admission.
The notification states that Competent Authority Quota seats in Minority Medical Colleges will be allotted to Muslim Minority candidates only. However, Muslim Minority candidates are also eligible for Competent Authority Quota seats in other medical colleges, subject to the applicable rules.
