UP NEET MDS Counselling 2026: Round 1 and 2 Admitted Candidates Can Submit Resignation Till October 6

The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh has issued an important notice regarding resignation from seats allotted through the first and second rounds of UP NEET MDS 2026 online counselling. The notice was issued on October 5, 2026 and applies to candidates who were allotted seats in government and private dental colleges and subsequently took admission to their allotted seats.

As per the provisions contained in the Government Order No. 1/1405837/2026 dated July 23, 2026, and the UP NEET MDS 2026 brochure, candidates who received an allotment through Round 1 or Round 2, completed admission to the allotted seat and now wish to resign from the admitted seat have been provided an opportunity to submit their resignation.

Such candidates can resign from their admitted seat by personally appearing at the nodal centre associated with the admitted seat. The resignation must be submitted by October 6, 2026, up to 5:00 PM.

The notice specifically concerns candidates admitted to MDS courses in government and private dental colleges through the first and second rounds of UP NEET MDS 2026 online counselling. Candidates who intend to resign should therefore ensure that they reach the concerned nodal centre within the prescribed deadline.
