The Office of the Director General, Medical Education & Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh has issued the revised schedule for UP NEET UG-2026 Second Round Online Counselling.

According to the notice dated September 20, 2026, the revised schedule has been issued in continuation of Government Letter No. 265/71-4099/1011/2022 dated September 19, 2026. The notice also states that the rescheduled First Round of counselling has been cancelled.

The revised schedule applies to admission against State Quota seats in MBBS and BDS courses conducted in Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges and Medical Universities across Uttar Pradesh.

Candidates should complete their choice filling within the prescribed online window.

First Round Rescheduled Counselling Cancelled

DGME Uttar Pradesh has clarified that the rescheduled First Round of counselling has been cancelled.

The revised notification has therefore provided a fresh schedule for the Second Round of UP NEET UG 2026 Online Counselling for State Quota MBBS and BDS seats.

Candidates participating in the counselling process should follow the latest schedule issued by DGME Uttar Pradesh rather than relying on the earlier rescheduled First Round dates.

Second Round Merit List on September 21

The Second Round Merit List will be published on September 21, 2026.

The seat allotment process for the Second Round will be conducted on the basis of this Second Round Merit List.

Candidates should check the merit list before participating in the choice-filling process.

Choice Filling Starts September 21

Online choice filling for the Second Round will begin at:

September 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM

The choice-filling window will remain open until:

September 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM

Candidates should carefully select and submit their preferred MBBS and BDS colleges/seats within the prescribed time.

UP NEET UG Round 2 Seat Allotment Result

The Second Round Seat Allotment Result will be released on September 25, 2026.

Candidates allotted seats will then be able to download their allotment letters and complete the admission process during the prescribed admission window.

Allotment Letter Download and Admission

Candidates who are allotted seats in the Second Round can download their allotment letters and complete admission formalities from September 26 to October 1, 2026.

Candidates should follow the instructions issued by DGME Uttar Pradesh regarding admission and reporting at the allotted institution.

Important Rules Remain Unchanged

The notice states that all other rules and conditions for the Second Round of counselling will remain unchanged.

Therefore, candidates should continue to follow the existing eligibility, choice filling, seat allotment and admission conditions applicable to UP NEET UG 2026 counselling.
