The Uttarakhand State Centralized Counselling Board has announced the schedule for NEET MDS 2026 Round 1 counselling for admission to MDS courses in the state. Registration for eligible candidates will begin on August 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM and will remain open until August 26, 2026, up to 2:00 PM, as per server time.

Only candidates who are eligible as per the State Government of Uttarakhand norms and have qualified NEET MDS 2026 will be allowed to participate in the counselling process. Candidates must complete registration to participate in Round 1.

Uttarakhand NEET MDS 2026 Counselling Fee

Candidates participating in Round 1 will have to pay a registration fee of Rs. 6,500 along with a security fee of Rs. 50,000. The payment can be made through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking.

The counselling board has clarified that the registration fee will remain valid for three rounds of counselling — Round I, Round II and Round III.

Who Can Participate in Uttarakhand NEET MDS Counselling?

The Round 1 counselling is open to candidates who:

• Have qualified NEET MDS 2026.
• Fulfil the eligibility requirements prescribed under the State Government of Uttarakhand norms.
• Complete the online registration process within the prescribed deadline.
• Pay the applicable registration and security fees.

The board has specifically stated that only registered candidates will be permitted to participate in Round 1 counselling.

Choice Filling and Seat Allotment

After publication of the provisional state merit list on August 27, 2026, eligible registered candidates will be able to fill and lock their choices.

The choice filling and locking window will remain open from 4:00 PM on August 27 until 11:59 PM on August 29, 2026.

The counselling authority will process the data on August 30 and 31, following which the Round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on September 1, 2026.

Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 will have to complete admission and join the allotted college by September 7, 2026.

The counselling board has advised candidates to regularly visit the official university website for the latest counselling updates, instructions and notices.

The detailed counselling procedure and guidelines will be updated from time to time based on directions and advisories received from the Government of India, counselling authorities, DCI and Government of Uttarakhand.

The latest instructions published by the UK NEET-MDS Counselling Board on the official website will supersede any corresponding condition or rule mentioned in the information bulletin.
