According to the notice published on September 18, 2026, candidates who were allotted seats in Round I based on their merit and choices can surrender their seats without forfeiture of the security deposit, subject to the applicable procedure and deadline.

Uttarakhand NEET PG MDS Round 1 Seat Surrender Deadline

Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round I of NEET PG MDS 2026 Uttarakhand Centralized Counselling, selected the FREEZE option and completed the admission procedure at the allotted institute can surrender their seat without forfeiture of the security deposit.

Such candidates must personally report to the concerned institute and complete the surrender process on or before:

September 21, 2026, up to 5:00 PM

No candidate will be permitted to surrender a Round I allotted seat after 5:00 PM on September 21, 2026, according to the notice.

FREEZE Candidates Must Report Personally

Candidates who selected FREEZE and completed admission at their allotted institute must personally report at the concerned institute if they wish to surrender their seat without forfeiting the security deposit.

Candidates should complete all required formalities within the prescribed deadline.

FLOAT Candidates Can Surrender Through Login

The notice also provides a separate procedure for candidates who were allotted a seat in Round I of NEET UG 2026 Uttarakhand Centralized Counselling and selected the FLOAT option.

Such candidates who wish to surrender their allotted seat without forfeiture of the security deposit can complete the surrender process by:

• Logging into their counselling account
• Using their Login ID
• Completing the prescribed surrender process

The surrender must be completed on or before:

September 21, 2026, 5:00 PM

After the deadline, candidates will not be permitted to surrender the Round I allotted seat under the stated procedure.
