The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU), Dehradun has announced the important dates for NEET PG MDS 2026 Uttarakhand State Centralised Counselling – Round II of Online Counselling.

The schedule includes online registration and fee submission for new eligible candidates, re-registration for already registered candidates and candidates opting for seat upgradation, Round I seat surrender, State Merit List publication, choice filling and locking, result declaration and joining at the allotted college.

Uttarakhand NEET PG MDS Counselling 2026 Round 2: Important Dates

All server-time deadlines mentioned in the notice will be governed by the counselling portal's server time.

Registration and Re-Registration for Round II

Newly eligible candidates can complete online registration along with payment of both the registration fee and security fee from September 18 to September 20, 2026.

Already registered candidates can complete the required online re-registration during the same period.

Candidates who are opting for seat upgradation under the Float option can also complete online re-registration without paying the registration fee, as specified in the schedule.

The registration and fee submission deadline is:

September 20, 2026, up to 4:00 PM (server time).

Round I Seat Surrender Deadline

Candidates who wish to surrender, withdraw or resign from the seat allotted in Round I without forfeiture of the security deposit can do so up to:

September 21, 2026, 5:00 PM

The detailed procedure for surrender/withdrawal/resignation has been uploaded separately on the HNBUMU website.

Candidates should carefully follow the prescribed procedure to ensure that the surrender request is completed within the deadline.

Round II Merit List and Choice Filling

The State Merit List for Round II will be displayed on the university website on:

September 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM

Candidates registered for Round II can then participate in choice filling and locking.

Choice Filling Schedule

September 21, 2026, 5:00 PM to September 22, 2026, 11:59 PM

Candidates should carefully review their available course and college choices before locking their preferences.

Round II Result and Joining

Following the completion of choice filling and data processing, the Round II result will be declared on September 24, 2026.

Candidates allotted seats in Round II must complete the admission and joining formalities at the allotted college by:

September 30, 2026

Candidates should comply with all admission requirements specified by the allotted institution and the counselling authority.

Round III and Stray Vacancy Schedule

HNBUMU has clarified that the schedule and procedure for Round III and the Stray Vacancy Round will be uploaded separately.

Candidates should therefore not rely on any earlier schedule for subsequent rounds and should regularly check the official university website for fresh notifications.
