The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has issued an important notice regarding the Round 1 seat allotment and Float Option for candidates participating in the NEET UG 2026 Uttarakhand State Centralized Counselling.

According to the notice published on September 1, 2026, the Round 1 seat allotment process has been completed based on the merit of candidates and the choices/preferences submitted by them during the counselling process.

Uttarakhand NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment

The Uttarakhand Centralized Counselling Board has completed the Round 1 seat allotment for eligible candidates participating in the NEET UG 2026 state counselling.

Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat can proceed according to the counselling instructions. However, candidates who want to upgrade their allotted seat in the subsequent round can choose the “Float” option.

How to Opt for the Float Option

Candidates who intend to participate in subsequent rounds through the Float option must complete the required process through their counselling portal login.

Candidates are required to:

1. Log in to the NEET UG 2026 Uttarakhand counselling portal using their login credentials.
2. Upload their original documents through the login ID.
3. Complete the prescribed document verification process.
4. Select the “Float” option within the specified deadline.

The Float option allows eligible candidates who wish to seek an upgrade to participate in the subsequent counselling round as per the applicable counselling process.

Candidates can select the Float option up to 5:00 PM on September 5, 2026.

The deadline is important for candidates who want to retain their participation in the subsequent round for possible seat upgradation.

Important: If a candidate does not take the required action within the stipulated date and time, the allotted seat will automatically stand cancelled, according to the notice.
