The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of West Bengal has issued Memo No. HFW-23099/320/2026/M/2403 dated September 15, 2026, announcing the tentative schedule for Round 2 of West Bengal NEET MDS Counselling 2026.

The counselling is being conducted for State Quota and Private Management Quota seats in MDS courses for candidates who have qualified NEET MDS 2026.

Candidates participating in the second round must complete online registration, fee payment, document verification, choice filling and choice locking within the prescribed schedule.

West Bengal NEET MDS Counselling 2026 Round 2: Important Dates

All timings mentioned in the schedule are according to server time, wherever specified.

Online Registration for NEET MDS Round 2

Eligible candidates who have qualified NEET MDS 2026 can register online for Round 2.

The registration window will open at 11:00 AM on September 18, 2026 and close at 4:00 PM on September 20, 2026.

Candidates should complete the registration carefully and provide all required information within the prescribed deadline.

Online Fee Payment

The online fee payment facility will remain available during the same period.

Fee Payment Window:
September 18, 2026, 11:00 AM to September 20, 2026, 12:00 Midnight

Candidates should ensure that both registration and applicable fee payment are completed successfully before proceeding to verification.

Candidate Verification

After successful registration and fee payment, candidates will be verified at the already designated college and software-assigned time slot.

The verification will be conducted on:

September 21 and September 22, 2026
Time: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

For in-service candidates, verification will be conducted at Swasthya Bhawan, as specified in the notice.

Candidates should carry the required original documents for the verification process.

Seat Surrender Facility

Candidates will also be provided an opportunity for online seat surrender at the allotted college level.

The seat surrender window is scheduled for:

September 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Candidates wishing to surrender their allotted seat should complete the prescribed process within this time.

Round 2 Seat Matrix and Choice Filling

The list of successfully verified candidates and the Round 2 seat matrix will be published on:

September 23, 2026, after 4:00 PM

After publication of the verified candidates list and seat matrix, eligible candidates can participate in online choice filling and choice locking.

Choice Filling Window

September 23, 2026, 6:00 PM to September 24, 2026, 12:00 Noon

Candidates should carefully review the available seats and submit their choices within the prescribed server-time window.

West Bengal NEET MDS Round 2 Allotment Result

The Round 2 allotment result will be published on:

September 26, 2026, after 12:00 Noon

Candidates should check the official counselling portal after the result is published to know their allotted course and institute.

Reporting and Admission

Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 must report to the allotted institute and complete the admission process during the prescribed period.

Reporting Dates:
September 28, 29 and 30, 2026

Reporting Time:
11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Candidates must carry the required original documents, requisite college fee and bond.

Admission will be completed after successful physical document verification and re-verification as required.

Instructions for Upgraded Candidates

Candidates who receive an upgraded seat in Round 2 must obtain their fee and documents back from the previous college before moving to the newly allotted institute.

They must also obtain the server-generated relieving letter from the previous college.

The relieving letter and other required documents must be submitted at the newly allotted institute during the admission process.
