The Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal has notified the approved fee structure for various private undergraduate medical and dental colleges in the state. The fee structure will be applicable for the 2026-27 academic year and covers MBBS and BDS courses offered by participating private institutions.
As per the notification issued by the Medical Education, Research & Training (MERT) Branch, Swasthya Bhavan, Kolkata, different fee rates have been prescribed for State Quota and Management Quota seats.
For BDS courses, the annual State Quota fee ranges from Rs. 2 lakh to Rs. 2.25 lakh, while Management Quota fees range from Rs. 5.5 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh per year in the listed private dental colleges.
For MBBS courses, the notified State Quota fees generally range from Rs. 2 lakh to Rs. 4 lakh per semester, depending on the college. Management Quota fees range from Rs. 8 lakh to Rs. 10.94 lakh per semester among the colleges listed in the notification.
