The National Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies (NSPGS) is a central government scholarship that supports students pursuing their first postgraduate degree in India. It aims to encourage higher education in Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Law, Architecture, and Technical streams. The scholarship provides financial assistance for tuition and other academic expenses to meritorious students enrolled in full-time, regular PG courses from recognized universities or colleges.
Must be pursuing a first postgraduate degree (MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, MCA, MTech/ME, MPharm, MArch, LLM).
Must be enrolled in a full-time, regular PG course from a recognized university or college.
Students with prior PG degrees are not eligible.
UG courses, diploma programs, PG diplomas, and clinical medical degrees (MD, MS, MVSc, MD/MS Ayurveda) are not eligible.

Go to the official website: National Scholarship Portal (NSP) – scholarships.gov.in
Click “New Registration” on the homepage.
Read the Guidelines for Registration carefully.
Tick the undertaking/consent box.
Click Continue.
Enter the following details:
Student Name (as per Aadhaar)
Mobile Number
Email ID
Gender
Bank Account Number & IFSC
Aadhaar Number
An OTP will be sent to your mobile for verification.
After verification, your NSP Application ID will be generated.
(This ID is very important for login.)
Go to Student Login → Select Academic Year.
Enter:
Application ID
Password
Captcha
Click Login.
On first login, you must change your password.
Complete the form by entering:
